Pascal Mental is a name we were keen to include as not only does he share the same passion for old school trance, it’s clear his experience and enthusiasm shines when selecting tracks to put together a set/podcast. We felt incredibly proud when we first listened to the mix, a true journey which reflects his commitment towards taking listeners on a psychedelic whirlwind whilst staying true to his original sound. It is believed that billions of years ago, before the existence of all life and matter, a cosmic inflation of unknown origin occurred. From absolute nothingness, everything was born in an instant.

At first, a dense and blazing cloud expanded faster than the speed of light. As it grew and cooled, it sank into the depths of a pitch-black darkness. At its core, a pulse gave birth to the very first elements that would later form the stars of our universe.

Since then, these same elements have been within everything around us, and because we share the same chemical essence, this pulse connects us to the deepest layers of the universe. The cycle of life reflects the greatest rhythm of all : the very heartbeat of creation.

A Pulse Within marks the beginning of our first exploration into deep chill-out music. This debut compilation assembles a selection of 11 tracks of carefully curated artists whose work brilliantly spans the realm of ambient and deep downtempo. Each pieces explore a different timeline — from the stillness of a newborn universe to the first stirrings of organic life. These immersive soundscapes are designed to evoke the primordial rhythm at the core of all creation and invites listeners to experience music not just as sound, but as a journey through space, time, and self.

C.YSME - Cromatic

Bonjour,

Après plusieurs mois de création pour cette bande son, écrite, composée et jouée spécialement pour la fermeture du Festival Sub.Version organisé par le collectif https://soundcloud.com/subconscience les 12-13-14 Septembre 2025, à Fay de Bretagne (44), je suis heureux de vous la partager, afin que vous puissiez pleinement l'écouter.

Mes amis du collectif m'ont laissés carte blanche pour ce final, j'ai donc composé un récit évolutif et explosif, à la rencontre de la faune sauvage et du vivant. 

J'ai pris énormément de plaisir à composer, en incorporant des éléments de mes projets cinématographiques. 

J'ai eu la chance de composer de la musique pour deux films documentaires en ce début d'année: 
- L'Héritage des Ruines, de Nicolas Le Bozec - Sortie au cinéma le 24 Juin à Guichen (35)
- Papa par Nature, de Pierre Pambrun - Sortie le 28 Octobre au Festival Ménigoute (79)

 Deux expériences très riches, et qui, je l’espère m'ouvriront les portes vers d'autres projets futurs.
