Humbled to share Volume 51, the first mix by NY’s pent. Her music aims to explore sounds that interact with each other in a way that can be narratively / emotionally confusing, and the mix she’s shared feels reflective of that sentiment. It’s movements are thoughtfully tied together by texture, tone, and effected voice. The emphasis on mood takes precedence and bpm’s become obfuscated. An engaging / surprising trip all the way through.
