Eccentric, experimental and extremely catchy

- EXAMPLER is now ready for the attention of the world.

Finally Denmark has gotten a representative that flirts with Glitch, Nu-Funk and Wonky without difficulties. Genre designations that are rarely represented in Examplers home country, Denmark, but have gained popularity worldwide over the last years. October 17th the mini-album ”Hunters & Collectors” is released.

Exampler have been highly productive in the Danish hiphop-underground and has released albums with his groups D’Artcore and Veteran Cosmic Rocker every year since 2008. He is self-taught, hardworking and stubborn, and his international approach has most recently resulted in him touring West Africa last spring with his project ”Denmark to Dakar” which was an entire album featuring local West African stars.

Now he has clearly defined a new direction with the virtuose instrumental album ”Hunters & Collectors”. It only took one single listen for the Danish rap-icon Per Vers to decide to release it. ”This was simply so superb, that I had to do everything in my power to share it with the world!” says Per Vers on his first meeting with Exampler.

”Hunters & Collectors” will be released digitally and on vinyl through Mixed Ape Music on October 17th. 30 minutes of neckbreaking beats. Among guestfeatures you will find Danish vocalists Negash Ali, Nappion, Barbara Moleko and the Senegalese singer Mustaf Mbaye.

Terran Spacers are a Bournemouth-based (Dorset, UK) prog-space metal band founded in the apocalyptic year of 2012, originally as a three piece. Once together, the band quickly started to implement songwriter guitarist and vocalist Dave Antal’s song ideas, some of which have already been demoed by himself under the names AtonHotep and Atonal Spacers.
The band’s songs, having their roots deeply in metal and rock mold a unique unearthly vibe to them with mostly science fiction based and layered lyrics into often uncommon, unexpected song structures.
From the earliest days onwards the band adopted the harmonious A=432Hz tuning.

The band’s first recording was a 2013 EP titled “Sailing 7 Seas Of Space” recorded by the original, still unnamed lineup, and consisted of 7 songs and an extra track. By the time the band was done with recording sessions, the name was agreed upon.
As most songs had originated from Dave’s Atonal Spacers project, it seemed logical to keep a part of that name. Due to the spacey vibe it was no question to keep “Spacers”. Once the skies have fallen to place, it was time to give them grounding. As above, so below – connecting the Earth with outer space – Terran Spacers were born.
The use of the word Spacers in the band name is meant to pay homage to science fiction writer Isaac Asimov who is one of Dave’s greatest influences in choosing themes to write about to this day.

In 2015, after some significant lineup changes the band is preparing for a longer recording.

Well, all of the above mentioned is bollocks, just a cover up story to soothe you and which you might believe without having to overexercise your brain’s capacity. Here’s the naked truth what’s really happened:

On the distant planet Terra, (which revolves about a binary star system called the Testicles, which consists of two equal sized stars, hidden from Earthly peeking eyes by the interstellar cloud called the Ballsack Nebula), a certain group of space-people (a.k.a. Spacers) have decided to expand their influence in the direction of the star Sun and the planet Earth in particular. In what way they wanted to expand their influence is yet unclear. In hope of better achieving their goal they started learning to play a number of musical instruments, in which project of theirs they completely failed, so they ended up having to use their mind-bending abilities on their arrival and making their audience think they can play by telepathically implanting the music experience directly into their brains. They also tampered with your brain so that this idea seems ridiculous to you who read this true bio and you’re inclined to believe the previously read cover-up crap.

You know what? If you don’t believe me, – as I can read your mind you don’t – I won’t go on with this. Believe what you want!
