In a now long forgotten world, many generations ago, a bird like shape emerged from wooded darkness, floating and fluttering, drifting and dreaming. Backlit by a bright glow of iridescent light, the undecipherable form wore a dazzling golden mask. Its long beak swooped down like an inverted horn and since then, people have referred to the mythical being simply as Claptone...

Known for his roles in film and television (Valley Girl, Daisy Jones & The Six, Poldark and more), Josh’s first passions were always music and art. Before acting, he performed with his band More Like Trees, but as his screen career accelerated, his focus naturally moved toward film and television.

Now, with a decade of additional songwriting and production experience - including original songs featured in films he starred in (The Knight Before Christmas, Netflix) - Josh is returning to the studio and stage while continuing his work as an actor.

A multidisciplinary artist, he is also developing an animated short film to raise awareness for strokes and aphasia, and collaborating with his team to produce independent films.
