Juste avant les 2 festivals (comme j'ai hâte de fou) où je vais vous retrouver cet été (près de Nimes et Montpellier ainsi qu'à Orléans qui est à 1 heure 30 de Paris), je vous propose un mix enflammé avec les tous derniers sons Psytrance du moment ! Je n'ai pas été très présent ces derniers temps car j'étais en studio avec mon pote pour vous sortir des nouveaux tracks très prochainement. Ca prend un temps dingue, mais alors, ça va claquer !! Whether as label head, podcast curator, DJ or producer, he continues to challenge himself and his audience to explore new realms in the electronic world. And often ahead of the curve, too, from the early, hard-edged and loopy 90s sound which is back en vogue today, through his more stripped-back turn of the millennium minimalism and onto the cinematic atmospheres and broader alternative electronica of his latest albums on Mute. It's no stretch to say, then, that Chris Liebing's story is closely connected to the story of techno itself.

✈ To celebrate this new episode, we are proud and delighted to welcome DJ, producer & MindTrip  label boss : PFIRTER.

For the past twenty years, Argentinian-born, Barcelona-based artist Juan Pablo Pfirter has been a driving force behind a sound that's alternately steely, dark, and uplifting, remaining true to the founding principles of techno while infusing it with his avant-garde touch.

Since his early days, whether through DJing, producing, or as a label owner, Pfirter has demonstrated his talent with focus and style. He's left his mark on esteemed labels like CLR, Figure, Mord, and Stroboscopic Artefacts with select singles, while headlining renowned electronic music venues and events such as Berghain, Tresor, Concrete, Awakenings, and Time Warp. Since his first European tour in 2005, Juan Pablo has tirelessly shaped one of the most distinctive sounds in contemporary electronic music, blending stadium-sized kicks with textured organic elements and hypnotic sub-bass motifs that remain captivating after countless listens. 

In 2006, Pfirter launched his own imprint, MindTrip, which has since become a prominent fixture in the techno landscape. The label serves not only as a platform for his own productions but also for those of his close friends and collaborators, including luminaries such as Flug, Kashpitzky, Nørbak, Stanislav Tolkachev, Dold, and more. Additionally, MindTrip has thrived through its monthly podcast series, featuring acclaimed artists like Angel Molina, Setaoc Mass, and Amotik, each presenting an hour of music that embodies the ethos of the label. 

Having released over 50 club-oriented records, Pfirter ventured into the realm of albums with 2019's "The Empty Space," offering a panoramic view of the subtle intricacies and emotional depth of his craft. His sophomore album, "Altered States," further explores the nuances and expressive possibilities within techno, balancing club-focused realities with introspective, psychoactive elements deeply rooted in the genre's tradition. 

Continuing to bridge the gap between the visceral and the cerebral, Pfirter consistently delivers compelling works that resonate long after the last strobe light fades. While his singles dominate specialist charts, the depth of his compositions lingers in the minds of listeners long after the club doors close. In Pfirter's hands, darkness becomes oddly comforting, inviting listeners into his unique sonic universe.

A mediados de los 90 comienza su contacto con la música electrónica y comienza a pinchar techno y hardtechno, influenciado por la música de Adam Beyer, Chris Liebing, Ben Sims,  que era lo que se escuchaba por aquel entonces y ha ido evolucionando con el tiempo pinchando house y todas sus variantes, influenciado por el sonido " Iberican Sound " de productores españoles como Dj Chus & Ceballos, David Penn, De Loren & Colors, Abel Ramos y que ha ido evolucionando con el paso del tiempo.
En sus sesiones se puede escuchar desde el techno más zapatillero, hasta todo tipo de house...
Ha pinchado en salas como Depo Club (Croacia), Nacht ( Venecia ), La Batea (Ibiza), Trax Club (Vigo), Sala Escada ( Medina del Campo ), Basik ( Navarra ), House of Colours ( Pontevedra ), Carabás ( Pontevedra ), Dublin ( Pontevedra ), Xanela ( Seixo ), Pause & Play ( Tui ), Dolcevita ( Lugo ), Boa Lua ( Narón ), Osi 2 ( Pontevedra ), El Jardin de Maria ( Vigo ), Moons ( Cangas ),  ....y muchas más....y participado en diferentes raves y competiciones de djs, siendo uno de los 3 finalistas gallegos del Movida Corona 2011, ganador del Samil Sound Competition 2013 y compartiendo sus sesiones en el programa " In Session " de Maxima Fm y compartido cabina con djs y productores de la talla de Dave Clarke,  Spartaque, Matt Sassari, Marco Bailey, Eric Sneo,  Gayle San, Cristian Varela, Pig & Dan, Dosem, Valentino Emme, Loris Zerola,  Fernando Mesa, Milutxo, Toni Alvarez....y muchos más.
