26 year old DJ and producer from The Netherlands, making and spinning techno music.

Boomstraat 1818 releases techno on vinyl and digital formats.

Yellow Mellow is a psytrance live project, design by a human being named João Porto.

This project was born with the intention to thank and contribute to the psychedelic culture, for all healings and teachings that has been provided to him since his first encounter with this sound art.

From an early age, curious and lover for music, always ran after different musical sub-genres, from punk to reggae, funk to bossa nova and many others.

Multi-instrumentalist, choosing guitar as his base instrument, where all started at a classical music conservatory.

He wasn't always a psytrance lover, only starting at the age of 21 when his friends invited him to party in the middle of the woods.

Fascinated by this first impact on the psytrance scene, he created a desire to give back to listeners all around the world what other artists had given him: his own frequencies as a form of auditory medicine.

Yellow Mellow's sound is still being refined, however, it can be characterised by serious basslines with the combination of random funny leads and spooky atmospheres. A middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition.
