I open it as i wasn't able to upload  more tracks on my others SC profiles.

Dj amateur, je mixe sur support vinyle à plein régime depuis 2017.
À l'occasion, j'ai pu me produire à quelques soirées type rave, et chacune m'a permis d'apprendre davantage.

Si aujourd'hui je me nourris des conseils de dj's plus expérimentés, j'ai acquis la majorité des techniques de mix en autodidacte.

Rester humble en toute circonstance, suivre quelques conseils avisés et patience m'ont permis d'acquérir une signature spécifique dans chacun de mes set. 

J'ai débuté sur contrôleur Numark mixtrack pro 2, puis Pioneer DDJ-T1. 
Passage au vinyle en 2017, j'ai fais acquisition d'une paire de Reloop RP-2000 MK3 pour enfin m'offrir du plus haut de gamme, une paire de Reloop RP-7000 MK2. 

En guise de mixette, j'ai d'abord commencé sur DJM-600, ensuite Ecler Nuo 2.0 puis Xone 22 et enfin sur Traktor Z2 aujourd'hui.

Un brave moment accroché aux sonorités acides sur le mix, je me suis construis un univers musical plus sombre, plus violent, plus rapide.

Cependant, j'affectionne particulièrement la Techno et plus précisément les rythmes avoisinant les 130-140 BPM avec des sonorités acides et des ambiances très new school (je citerais  Ililja Djokovic - Chimera, Arjun Vagale - Liquid ou encore Amelie Lens - Access et Winter).

Des artistes comme Minimum Syndicat et Boston 168 m'inspirent également.

Depuis quelque temps, j'affectionne également DJ Producer comme Dolphin ou encore The Teknoïst et DJ Tugie, des rythmes breakés aux ambiances violentes et rapides avec lyrics Hip-Hop UK.

Mon dernier set "Apocalypse", basé sur un genre récent, le hardcore breed ou crossbreed mêlé à des sonorités industrielles, m'a particulièrement permis de comprendre mon intérêt pour les rythmes effrénés auxquels les férus de hardcore sauront adhérer! 

Je possède une collection modeste d'environ 300 vinyles avec des styles comme de l'acidcore new wave, hardcore français oldschool, frenchcore, hardcore breed, un peu de hardcore hollandais, et "mental" avec des disques du label très connu Obs.cur et enfin UK hardcore récent.

Pour élargir mes possibilités de mix et accéder à des références plus récentes dans des styles particuliers, et aussi par souci financier, je me suis initié au timecode avec une carte AUDIO 8 de chez Native Instrument, le tout sur Traktor premier du nom. J'ai ensuite décidé d'approfondir le projet avec l'achat d'une Traktor Z2 ainsi que la licence Traktor Pro 3.

La musique électronique me passionne à la fois par sa complexité de structure et sa simplicité d'écoute, elle est intuitive et transparente.

My name is Paul Amlehn. I am an artist working in the mediums of literature, music, visual art, theater, opera, dance, performance art, and film.

My poetry, prose, and texts for theater and opera have been published in literary journals in 23 countries, including Exquisite Corpse, the California Quarterly, Poetry Salzburg Review, and Evergreen Review.

Cover art for my albums has been provided by painter Gerhard Richter and artist, musician, and filmmaker David Lynch.

At the end of 2024, I worked on several re-creation compositions which utilzed sonic elements from pre-existing songs by Brian Eno and David Byrne, Nine Inch Nails, and Grimes, from their albums "My Life in the Bush of Ghosts," Ghosts I-IV," and "Miss Anthropocene, combined with new music by myself and other musicians.

Earlier this year, I collaborated with painter Gottfried Helnwein on a short film called: Epigenetic Trauma Painting No. 1.

I'm presently working on a new music recording project.
