Alastair was generous enough to share a good chunk of his knowledge, introducing me to less obvious labels and artists from scandinavia and japan. back to now and the scene is still thriving (at least artistically) and many of those emerging artists have since become 'real' people and important friends that i've since shared projects with on my adventures. i'm proud of, and impressed by Al's notable impact with lempuyang, his impeccable taste and sustaining the vinyl community.. even in these challenging times. my sincere thanks for then and now x

Shortly after making his debut on International Deejay Gigolos back in 2000, Poladroïd ventured on his own to establish Roulette Rekordz. He then toured Europe performing in cities such as Madrid, Barcelona, London, Amsterdam, Prague, Paris... and predominantly in Belgium alongside artists like ADULT., Ectomorph, Dopplereffekt, Luke Eargoggle, MANASYt, Zerkalo and numerous local talents where he has gained a reputation for his dynamic and energetic live performances, delivering a unique blend of electro with an unwavering intensity that has remained consistent throughout the years.Around 2008, the label ceased its activities, and shortly after, Poladroïd took a break from his musical pursuits. However, he resurfaced in 2019, simultaneously relaunching his label. Since then, he has released music on Science Cult, Detriti, Microm, Applied Research, Meta Moto, Diffuse Reality, Patterned Media... In addition to his work as Poladroïd, he has also released albums as the Xenomorph Jazz Ensemble and under the Cercle Futur moniker.

I just did my first set at THF Radio this past Friday 25 April.  It's always a nice vibe and community over there. Unscripted but organized is always my style when mixing.  With this I've tapped into some new tracks mixed with some old classics. In Particular I'm  really geeked over the sounds I'm discovering on Duro Label so many beautiful gems coming out of the Latin American dance music scene especially in Mexico. I hope this mix amuses your ears please enjoy and share.

Finally getting to share this set from almost a year ago when I DJed at Podlasie Club (Chicago). Expect a lot of house from deep to jackin' and everything in between. I was coming down with Influenza A this night and was pretty sick! I think it's a fun set regardless and has a lot of my favorite loopy house records.
