The influential AudioHell label looks to exciting UK talent Patch for its next EP. Featuring two fresh tracks with one remix from the boss himself, it is a well formed package of deep club music for the more discerning dancefloors.

Patch, a newly emerging producer who has worked in the music industry for some time here showcases his love of hypnotic sounds. As a versatile talent in both the DJ booth and the studio, it's no wonder this London-based northerner has played all over the UK in the last 18 months, and his burgeoning reputation is steadily rising. 

‘Grube’ opens things up with impressive style. Marrying meditative and euphoric moods with rubbery drums on the baseline and rolling synth melodies. “There must be a scientific explanation for spirituality”  - the contemplative vocal muses before the track implodes. It is a late night, zoned out track that speaks to the soul.

The Italian label boss AudioHell flips the cut into a more stripped back house cut with bouncy kicks, prickly percussion and the burrowing synth from the original all ensuring you get lost in the groove. 

Patch’s ‘Silhouette’ is a more colourful, deep-techno roller that is rippled with melodies and synths. Big hi-hat ringlets and doom laden bass strokes all add drama whilst the whole thing manages to be subtle and emotive.

Little did they know of his wicked ways, his misdemeanours and troubled past. It was as if this place was a cloak behind which his villainous passion lay ominously.
