This project was created over the past handful of years in my basement after everyone has gone to sleep. The concept is an attempt to capture the process of spiritual growth and is intended as a pensive/yoga/meditative piece. Everything but the guitar on "How Come You Say" & "Natalie" was recorded by me via Logic using everything from crinkling a Red Bull can to an old K2000, my bass, & of course plug-ins. The guitar was courtesy of Taylor Devault, a great friend & obviously one hell of a guitar player. I sincerely hope you enjoy the album. It has been a rewarding & creatively exciting process to create.

The Northwood & 4 Communal Music Production Studio was established in 2012 in Columbus, Ohio, with the purpose of providing a well-equipped environment for area musicians of a variety stripes to work, rehearse, and record. The studio is a non-profit, community-based enterprise.

Northwood & 4 began releasing albums in partnership with Norway-based Sparkwood Records in early 2016, serving primarily as a U.S. branch of the label—both Northwood & 4 and Sparkwood Records share a passion for ambient, drone, and left-field electronic music, as well as a commitment to bringing such music to a wider audience.
