This track was a long time coming!
  I met S.E.S (a.k.a. Shaun Wright) in 2002 at a small house party i was having when i lived in Rossland B.C. He was carrying around a small PA system (basically a mic with a speaker the size of a wallet) and he was free styling into it and encouraging others to do so as well.  I had just started getting into hip hop and was starting to write poetry myself, so i joined in. My raps were mostly just passion and swearing hahaha, i now had the hip hop bug!! 
   A short time later I located Shaun's home phone number, I called him and asked if he wanted to freestyle again. He turned to his mom and Brother Bryan (a.k.a. BRYX) and said "this guy wants me to freestyle with him, he says he met me at a party, i don't know who he is". They encouraged him to do it. So there we were in Warfield B.C. (located between Trail and Rossland B.C.)  parked up some road, siting in my car. He free styled first, then i did..  Anger, swearing and probably threatening words was my theme. Shaun being a very none violent individual was caught back by surprise . Knowing what his advice would be, but scared to share it, in fear he might get attacked by this overly angry stranger he just met. Shaun spoke up "Ahhh good job man! could i give you some advise? You shouldn't swear so much,try to  use those words only every so often then you can emphasis them and they'll have more meaning".
      The next years to come S.E.S and I became inseparable. 4 p.m. every Friday after noon he would call me and say "when you coming over". I became the man on the couch at his house on weekends for the years to come. This was during a time when i was very depressed, no job no money, S.E.S. was one of the few people who believed in me and gave me the friend ship and encouragement i needed to continue. He spent thousands of dollars on me and asked only friendship in return. He tought me everything i know about Hip Hop, and also showed me alternatives to violence and anger.
     S.E.S. has always been there for me and a day does not go by that i don't appreciate all he has done for me! thank you Shauny E Shaun!! You are the best friend i've ever had, and i can't help but to think you saved my life!! I love you Bro!!!
