Taking minimal techno to the maximum, this album of moody, melodic tech-house has the signature depth and breadth of Sam’s soundscapes: turn this one all the way up.

Taking it dark and deep, 'Fae' bounces off the walls with its abrasive synths and chuggy basslines.

'Zion' is high energy, with a heavy metallic complexity and hallucinogenic ethnic-techno layers.

All good things are three: '333' brings sexy back triple-time in this spacey, synth-laden track which captures the light divine.
 
With a touch of far-flung exotica from his native Canary Islands, Alex Medina, who previously released on Innervisions and Transmoderna, adds a more upbeat tone to '333'. Taking the original track for a hot date on the dancefloor, expect heavy kicks and deep reverbs.

Remixed by the Turkish techno heavyweight duo Murat Uncuoglu and Alican Yuksel, as heard on Innervisions, Afterlife and Exit Strategy, 'Fae' thrashes like a slippery eel into an explosive breakdown while retaining the same full power, basement ready vibe as the original cut.

We have the pleasure to welcome in our limited Wood the Italians talent duo DJs and producers known with the name of "Abime". Them sound is characterized by a sweet mix of dark sounds combined with fat grooves and sharping melodies. They delivered us "Elohim" their first track signed together, which gives the name to the whole EP. Elohim is a sweet techno moment rounded by a deep and nostalgic climax that show quickly their personality. Immediately after we have to the remix duties "Faraday (Ita)" who delivered us an elaborate and complex ethereal reinterpretation of the original. To close this journey we have another great remix from the hands of "Main Leaf" and "David Di Sabato", then joining their forces, they create a deep and dark timeless moment.

For his return to ICONYC we're excited to welcome fran&co & Aves Volare to bring us their take on Frank's 'Taron'. Frank who knows a thing or two when it comes to mind blowing productions, delivers an irresistible track that kicks things off nicely with the melancholic vibes setting the tone. He roams effortlessly through progressive inspired melodies, while the sultry chords sit wonderfully on top of the driving percussive foundation. Frank takes it up a notch by adding an extra layer of depth, whilst upping the flow with cleverly programmed drumming and his trademark FX elements, without destroying the essence of the main groove. His work deserves to be branded 'essential' in any sense of the word. On remix duty we welcome back Mad Hatter head honcho fran&co to ICONYC. fran&co who is known for his driving and refined sound, keeps the ethereal theme of the original alive, as the pulsating bass powers along, before its drum fills and general drive all combine to do the talking. The second remix comes courtesy of label alumni Aves Volare, who brings a more driving melodic edge to 'Taron'. His rework creates a good feel vibe from the word go, as the atmospheric and driving vibe keeps you moving with warm tinkling sounds, a smooth edge and some nicely effected sounding pieces that continue building to culminate into this amazing club groover. We basically have the formula for a bit of a monumental outing. The sparseness is the key here, as this restrained gem works its magic while it plays away, creating a stunning glow and an air of sophistication.
