This is my constantly evolving Hard Future Bass playlist. I consider the genre to be future bass with a touch more emotion. Usually this results in less emphasized buildups and harder hitting drop drums, with a touch of melodic distortion.

I don’t see any connection between the Joker and Thanos at all, whatsoever. In fact, they are basically opposites. Thanos is a dedicated soldier, willing to die to accomplish an evil mission. The Joker simply wants chaos; he wants to expose the lie we tell ourselves about who we are and what we do vs our true nature—to show how easily and quickly the monster inside can be summoned. Thanos smiles at his death in admiration of the Avengers. He is a soldier; he admires their dedication and how they fight for what they believe in. For Thanos, it is only misfortune and a difference in perspective that forces them to be enemies. The Joker scene is much more comparable to Darth Sidious. As he previously had with Vader, the Emperor continually pushes Luke to use his rage. It does not matter to him whether Luke could use that rage to defeat him.
