PATCHWORKdigital is following YOUNG XAV as he prepares to release his album, Dead By Dawn, this fall. In episode 4 of this several-part series, Claire Moseley and Patrick Cosgrove talk with Maggie Butler about their experience at a music video shoot with YOUNG XAV, as well as video production, editing, and process.

Another disclosure: we edited out a solid 5 minutes of us laughing. Honestly we laughed to the point we thoroughly believed there was a carbon monoxide leak. Point is we’re funny. Moving forward, this episode we acknowledge how much we appreciate everyone that is supporting us, but we also address how it feels when people feign support. We also talk about our ability to pick and choose our opportunities. As a small operation we are able to decide who we’d like to invite, what days we want to record, what we want to talk about, etc. Side note: No episode will be posted next week (the week of the 13th) as we get our new set up together! New gear and guests coming soon!

V sorry for the unexpected week hiatus. This week (last week) on Trial Run of Perfection, we discussed having balance in all aspects of our lives. We had every intention of recording and editing and posting same day but life is life and it be like it do. It’s fitting that this is our topic during that time. As we get further into the development of Patchwork Digital, the balance between our passion for our dream and having full time jobs and full time lives becomes more apparent. We’d also love to hear from any of you who have thoughts or suggestion for the podcast or anyone you think we should interview!

PATCHWORKdigital is a digital media studio in Chicago focused on podcast production, hosting live interviews, and film production. We have the resources and skills to assist in the entire process of creating and promoting original podcasts, films, and digital content to engage with unique audiences.

What started out as two friends who just wanted to create, turned into a podcast, Trial Run of Perfection. We talked to some inspiring people, and ultimately decided to shift our focus into building a network of creatives. We’re using our collective skills and diverse perspectives to help give a platform to those creating art in various forms.
