There and then I  curtailed my Icelandic activities and went to work on a homage to B.B. and the Blues; after all, he was the last player to be able to trace his roots back to the devil and the crossroads with Robert Johnson

WARSAW TO JOY DIVISION: Long ago in a galaxy far away, I chanced upon three dusty old cassettes at a flea market in Camden Town, London. How enjoyable it is to hear Ian Curtis and the band working out their lyrical and instrumental chops. These tracks are now classic's and sound 
wonderfully raw without Martin Hannett at the mixing desk 
noodling around. Best played at ear-splitting volume with spasmodic body motion at the ready.
