Gerra & Stone return to Dispatch to join the main label, kicking things up a notch with their “Too Deep EP” dropping this Autumn. Following the huge success of their LTD debut “Backhand / Tenfold”, the Southampton based duo continue to raise the bar. Their first full Dispatch EP features four concrete rollers; each tightly programmed, each packing a punch at the lower frequencies, injecting instant stamina into any discerning crowd.

Title track “Too Deep” swoops down with deadly fervor and venomous low ends that twist and mature throughout, whilst “Long Game” strikes with ferocity and through to the rib cage. Mid-range growls resemble heated alien discourse, as the bass grooving subtly throughout. 

Keeping the beats moody and no-nonsense, bongos lightly patter over “Lockdown” and sweet vocal washes argue with jeering and fermenting bass sounds. “Bus 54” strips to more abstract surface noises initially, but possesses a lethal edge that we have come to expect from Gerra & Stone.

The duo from Southampton are fast becoming artists to watch with material scheduled for Ram before the end of the year and another Dispatch release lined up for early 2015.

This is classic Dutty of the highest order, dropping straight in to a charging main line, with barking samp les and an addictive bass line. It began as a whisper, spoken in low tones in multiple languages in the uneasy night. Talk of a place where the greatest of mecha roam, gathering amongst the desolate ruins of a war prepared for and never fought. The first explorers returned with stories of low frequency weapons, harvested from the ruined depths of a subterranean complex. With these re-engineered into towering relays capable of pure sonic carnage, the lands began filling rapidly with pilgrims from distant places, offering themselves as captives to their own higher mental states. What was once a mere whisper has now become legend, with this meeting of the mightiest clans bringing forth the greatest frequency warriors to stake out their claims. 

EATBRAIN casts a long shadow across the fray, setting seasoned label veterans L 33 and MINDSCAPE into the hordes of adrenaline-fuelled ravers alongside recent label additions MACHINECODE and AGRESSOR BUNX - all of whom have LPs coming on the label as well as appearing at the festival. A tight manifesto is stretched across the 4 rowdy and high-energy tracks that make up the EATBRAIN GOES TO LET IT ROLL, with the irresistible audio manipulative skills of Eatbrain crafted to exquisitely tear up the dance. A reflection in sound of the perfect marriage between one of the best contemporary neurofunk labels and one of the most impressive live spaces that exists for drum and bass.

Compilations don't get much bigger than this; across two high energy mixes we’ve brought in sterling submissions from our ever-growing roster of talent, strong highlights from the last twelve months and most importantly shiny diamond cuts to look out for in 2017. Find 20 brand new tracks from key players such as S.P.Y, Logistics and Anile, and an exclusive Metrik and Fred V & Grafix collaboration. They took time out of their busy DJing schedules to join forces on ‘Tension', encapsulating their love for euphoric dancefloor smashers.

The DUB ELEMENTS duo return to the expansive EATBRAIN label in force, following up their 2 track pincer movement with ‘POW’ and ‘Shots Fired’ on the Mirror Universe compilation with their first full release - the INVASION EP. With a rich and heavy background in the dark arts of harder drum and bass, the five tracks within are designed with the pure intent of knocking the hell out of the rave. Featuring fellow Spanish producer and Eatbrain alumni KUNG for a sick frenetic beast of a track in SWITCHER, and the emerging capable talents of MANIATICS on the percussion-driven pointed assault of AUTOMATICS - the Invasion EP brings some truly delectable sonic talent to the table. Prepared to have your eardrums thoroughly penetrated by Eatbrain’s latest invasive slice of cutting edge audio, and expect to hear the mighty sounds of Dub Elements throughout the closing raves of Summer.
