The Chemistry is a young French online magazine that deals with various topics, going from art to fashion and music.

On the occasion of the magazine’s second birthday the lab has decided to break out his brand new project called “LITHIUM”, which is basically a 24 tracks compilation. This can also be experienced throughout a series limited edition tapes.

This humble project mainly includes Beat & Bass music and has for main goal to reflect the image of the magazine through a selection of artists. This new recipe associate very promising young talents with producers who have already proved themselves. LITHIUM has no boundaries and is not about elitism, only dope music matters.

Dark atmosphere, aquatic tracks, jazzy tuning, furious beats… Lithium brings an assortment of tracks that includes different moods but still being part of the same musical genre. Along the listening you will clearly discover the songs complement one another. We could say that the whole team is proud of this very first compilation.

The Chemistry est un jeune Webzine français qui concentre les domaines de l'art, de la mode et de la musique.

C'est à l'occasion de son deuxième anniversaire que le laboratoire déclarera son projet "LITHIUM" : une compilation de 24 morceaux en téléchargement libre. Une expérience également disponible en un nombre limitée de cassettes.

Ce projet, sans prétention aucune, ciblé Beat & Bass music, a avant tout pour but de refléter au mieux l'image du magazine au travers des artistes sélectionnés. Une cuisine spéciale qui regroupe alors de nouveaux talents prometteurs, accoudés de producteurs dont la réputation n'est plus à faire.

Lithium se dévoile, sans frontière, et sans élitisme, dans le respect bien sûr de l'exigence qualitative recommandée par The Chemistry.
Ambiance sombre, nappes aquatiques, accords jazzy, beats furieux,
Lithium est un panaché de morceaux remarquables tant sur l'atmosphère qu'ils dégagent que sur le côté technique. On y découvre des tracks d'une évolution complémentaire, créant ainsi une première compilation de laquelle s'en sort la fierté de notre équipe !

Cold Busted’s famed Street Bangerz series has reached its tenth installment, continuing to, in the words of the label, “define the street sound of today.” Indoctrinating global beatmakers into Cold Busted’s extended family, the series promises nimble sample archeology and breakbeats both funky and soulful, combining flavors from the new and old schools. The Athens, Greece, producer Moderator has been tasked with number ten, and he delivers in a champion fashion. Last year’s The World Within album for Cult Classic Records gave a tantalizing taste of what to expect from Moderator as Street Bangerz Volume 10 now rolls onto the scene. Fifteen tracks of bouncing beat-head hotness are introduced by the crucial soul-breaks of “Ain’t Nobody Change My Mind” … and it won’t take much further than “Trouble”’s Jamaican-style skank in the following track to realize the variety of sounds presented here. “Underground Dopiness” and “Keep On”, a couple of classic-themed hip hop tracks featuring Los Angeles rhyme crew Revolutionary Rhythm, and appearances by female emcee Maicee and soulful vocalist Heeni also display Moderator’s impressive sonic breadth. But the cohesive thread throughout is Moderator’s keen production acumen and solid beats, keeping this edition of Street Bangerz on track for repeated listens and dance floor plays.
