Bijna elk radiostation heeft ze tegenwoordig; Power Intro's. Een prachtig middel om de muziek van je station te 'branden' maar vrijwel elk station doet het op exact dezelfde manier. Waarom? "De rest doet het toch ook zo!" Voor een CHR hit-format ligt het voor de hand dat je Power Intro's draait van de huidige hits omdat die nummers voor die specifieke stations het belangrijkste zijn. Maar voor een station met een Greatest Hits, AC-format of een Hot AC-format zijn de recente hits een stuk minder belangrijk en dus ook minder relevant om daar Power Intro's van te draaien. Voor DMG Radio maakte ik daarom juist van de core 80's titels, Power Intro's zodat de muziek die van dat station het belangrijkste is 'branded' is. Daarnaast onderscheid je jezelf hiermee van de andere stations omdat je niet dezelfde Power Intro's als je concurrent draait.
