The Fresh Prince

Roman Backer Leegstra a.k.a.The Fresh Prince, has a rare foundation of music for his age. Growing up in the BBoy Culture, he was always surrounded by Break beats,Funk, Disco, Soul and Hip hop classics. 

Among the years his love for (Old school)Hip hop, RnB and Swingbeat expanded and became a passion as he grew older. At the age of eighteen he started to explore music by mixing it at home and recording mixtapes. After a year he did his first gig and the rest is history. 
After his first gig, more and more people started to recognize his style of mixing and as an upcoming DJ he rocked several local bars/venues in the south of The Netherlands(Limburg). Now he is one of Limburg’s top Urban/Eclectic deejay’s and has played in the hottest clubs/venues of the South. He also expended his gigs in the area of Amsterdam and rocked a party called 'The Legend of the Golden Era' at Suzy Wong, 'BUM RUSH' in Hoofddorp, Sneakerness Westergasfabriek and 'MONDAY' in the world famous 'Supperclub' in Amsterdam. 

In 2010 he started making his own events called "In Effect", and started rocking these In Effect party's in Heerlen monthly. Recently he also played and organized the After party of world's biggest BBoy/Dance event, "The Notorious IBE".
