Currently playing bass in Little Billy Lost with Fred Pineau (The Atlantics), Smitt E. Smitty (Figures on the Beach/Fireking) and James Melanson (Pop Gun), gigging regularly and working on new music to be released in 2020. Last played Bass in Two Saints (with Joe Mazarri  x-Thunders, Daughters, Pussy Crush) and previously with Tenafly Vipers, Gimantis, The Illegals, 5-Point, Big City Rockers (with Fred Pineau & Tom Hauck of The Atlantics) American Pulverizer (with Kenny chambers of Bullet LaVolta/Moving Targets fame), Natalie Flanagan Band and too many others to bother naming.

Detroit and Boston. Motor oil and dirty water. Sweat and blood. Art and music. The duality of Smitt E. Smitty’s vision and passion is what has driven him to create this work called “Just A Modern Guy.” Born and raised in the Motor City, and moving to the Athens of America when he was still a young man, Smitty has relentlessly pursued his desire to create music and art from the very start. With a long history of collaboration with many of Detroit’s and Boston’s best musicians and artists, this is Smitty’s very first foray into fronting his own project. Ever the provocateur, this collection of eclectic songs represents the creative mind of a lifelong absurdist thinker. Literal and abstract. Precise and loose. Subtle and serious. After everything is said and done, Smitt E. Smitty is just a modern guy.
