After we found grandma’s belonging and her souvenirs in an old wood trunk, we found Grandpa’s safe. Thank god, Grandpa had the bad habit of using his birthday date as a combination and password on his Commodore 64. We expected to find some old money, a nice leather photo album of his adventures in the deep see and the fish he captured in the Caribbean Sea with his friend Charlie Walton, which we never met by the way. However, we did not expect to find this insurance policy on grandpa’s life and the recipient of the insurance being Charlotte Walton.

The track was written just after attending the BLM peaceful protest on May 31st 2020 as an observational piece on the dystopian nature of our current society. It looks at unsettling views, media agenda and the throw away nature of the internet. The first verse is based on a shouting argument at the family dinner table, the second verse is a look at the Metro newspaper tactically placed for free on all public transport and the chorus is....well, I'm sure you can relate....
