In Canton, a small upstate NY town that hugs the Canadian border, resides a seasoned songwriter, American recording artist and guitarist by the name of Christian Parker. 
In equal measurements of melodic color and rhythmic flair, Christian’s dazzling collection of songs have been warming the hearts of listeners over the past 3 and a half decades. By pivoting his lyricism around emotion, tension, and hope, Parker has carved out a sound that constantly keeps the listener craving more, with songs that elegantly weave through a tapestry of pensive acoustic and chiming electric guitars with unforgettable hooks.
Acting as a musically minded watchman on the wall, Christian Parker centers the themes and stories of his productions around the events and stories of others, while also honing in his wordplay around the human condition. He speaks to the trials, tribulations and victories we encounter in everyday life, and to the complexities of relationships, whether in the form of loss or appreciation.
Although Parker's lyricism could be interpreted as melancholic, having written music that focuses on suicide, faith, and the regret of loss, Parker is a true believer that songs need to be uncovered, so that once they are revealed, the piece of music can serve as a blessing to those that hear them. As a listener, his ability to start with verses in moody minor keys before finally reaching gloriously uplifting choruses takes you on an unforgettable pop-landscape, sonic-fueled journey.
Having been playing the guitar since the age of 12, it was the day after the tragic death of John Lennon in 1980 that Parker took his very first lesson. As America wept, Christian Parker learned to play Rocky Raccoon that very night. Fast forward five years and by 17 Christian had released his first album, 'Reflections of Tomorrow'. He has since added five additional studio albums to his discography through the years. He went on to collaborate and co-write songs with Peter Pendras for Bug Music in Nashville, TN who was a staff writer.
In recent years he has worked with producer Louie Hurwitz; Woodstock Records who most notably performed in The Band with Levon Helm. Christian’s efforts as lead guitarist in the Waydown Wailers helped take their 2018 release of Backland Blues to number 42 on The Roots Music Report. The band has been a supporting act for Lady A, Charlie Daniels, Jarrod Niemann, and The New Riders of the Purple Sage – to name a few. 
Now an artist on SubCat Records, Christian is co-producing with engineer Ron Keck on his newest project Every Passing Mile and Best Kept Secret, a collection of previously unreleased material spanning the last two decades.

The Golden Hours is a psychedelic folk rock duo formed by Bradley Stewart (Philadelphia) and Patrick Cleary (Los Angeles), a transcontinental collaboration rooted in harmony-rich songwriting, jangling guitars, and cosmic 60s textures. With roots in the Philadelphia and LA music scenes, the duo merges East Coast grit with West Coast shimmer to create something both timeless and new.

Daniel Young is a singer-songwriter, guitarist, drummer, sound engineer, and producer from Salt Lake City. He grew up on the side of a tall mountain, and that sense of forceful elevation informs all of his work. Daniel's been recording and performing for over two decades—and he's not that old, which tells you much of what you need to know about his commitment to craft, about how deep this runs with him.

Who knows? On his soul-stretching, sometimes anguished new album, on his fourth album, Leave It Out to Dry, Daniel Young finds his way to this question, over and over again. Through a heady stew of psych cowboy laments, Dead-style sideways rambles, and sagebrush pharmaceuticals, Leave It Out to Dry is Young's rawest, most expansive adventure yet. The medium matches the message: Young is looking at the great beyond; Young's music is becoming the great beyond. And, like the man said, sometimes when you stare into the abyss, it returns your gaze. Or sometimes, Young seems to acknowledge, you sing to it and it sounds back.

The familiar influences are still there—country and western, early-70 r-&-r, observational songwriting á la John Prine—but they are filtered through something gnarlier, more unsettled. In other words, there's an urgency and a ragged edge to many of the cuts here that feels like a breakthrough. "Here Comes the Flood," for instance, finds Young at the edge of a new territory—sonically, spiritually—reaching outward, still reaching. Or the twin-guitar-lead, heavy-mic-bleed of "Help Us Get Along," a horn-driven plea that charges toward solace.

Tracked mostly live in the basement of Orchard Studio, Leave It Out to Dry adds another length to the winding track of American song and sound that Young has been building for over half his life.

This psychedelic folk band not only sounds like they are from the 60s, but some of their photos look like album covers from my mother's old record collection. "I got there early (to Club Spaceland, Silverlake, California) and caught Silver Phial, a folk group with a girl drummer (yay!)! The harmonies were fabulous and I was really digging the funky undertones of some songs and the rock and roll feel of the others. The lead singer slash drummer Cheryl has an amazing voice and even though it was early and people definitely weren’t drunk yet, they somehow got the crowd moving."

'Aeronautique' (from their ep released last year) is my favorite example: I put this song on and it’s an instant mood lifter. It’s like some Victorian vintage fantasy flying machine powered by the sweet side of sixties psychedelia.
