Born in Madrid in the 90's, Raul Alvarez is a Sound Engineer, DJ & Music Producer very involved in the rave scene and the club culture from Berlin and Madrid since 2010, when he founded the label 2RB Records and he started the project TwoRbeat. 

In constant collaboration with different clubs, artists and promoters from the electronic music community, Raul performed in the most iconic venues in Berlin & Madrid such Tresor, Sisyphos, About Blank, Fabrik, Utopia, Specka, Ritter Butzke, Suicide Circus, Pirandello, Studio 76, Renate, Rave The Planet and many more... 

His life changed drastically when Zak Khutoretsky aka DVS1 wrote to Raul on Facebook asking him for new unreleased tracks for a compilation that would be released by Fabric Club in London. That happened in the same month as the opening of one of Zak’s biggest cultural endeavors: The 4DSOUND soundsystem at MONOM, inside The Funkhaus. 

Raul was very lucky and Zak gave him the possibility to work managing all the technical aspects of the space as the studio/venue manager, developing an insane obsession for the low frequency behaviour of that 9 underfloor subwoofers and the infinite possibilities of that kind of soundsystem, re-shaping his sound palette to something in between IDM and Techno while having the opportunity to work with artists such Jean-Michel Jarre, Aphex Twin, Richie Hawtin, Peggy Gou, Varg, OPN and many more.... Giving the chance to Raul for learning electronic music production techniques from all the artists that came to develop their projects at MONOM using the 4DSOUND soundsystem as an instrument itself. 

As a producer he has released more than 100 tracks under different aliases, with originals, collaborations and remixes, he has an extended catalog of several releases on diverse international labels such Ben Sims platform Symbolism, Ellen Alien's platform BPitch, Paula Temple's Noise Manifesto, ARTS, Toolroom, Devotion, Elektrotribe or Fallen Metropolis, hitting different times Top 100 Beatport charts and being featured on Beatport's internal monthly selections from different genres such Techno, Electro, House or Hardtechno. He performed around Europe, specially in Germany, Spain and Denmark; and he had DJ residencies in 3 different cities: Ibiza, Berlin and Madrid. 

His sound is influenced by the first steps of House and Techno but developed with an alchemist soul, evolving from an old school background to an experimental and futuristic approach.
