Alex Haas , auch bekannt unter seinem Kürzel Alex H. wurde quasi ins Nachtleben hineingeboren. Aufgewachsen ganz in der Nähe Kassels hatte er schon von klein auf mit der Diskothek seines Vaters zu tun und starte dementsprechend früh seinen Weg als DJ. Fasziniert von der Vielfalt und der Atmosphäre des Nachtlebens zogen ihn Techno-Partys mehr und mehr in ihren Bann. Bereits im Alter von 14 Jahren entdeckter er die Plattenteller für sich und durchlief im Laufe der Jahre diverse Stilrichtungen und sammelte in der Diskothek seines Vaters erste Erfahrungen auf der anderen Seite der Turntables. Inspiriert gerade durch die Härte diverser Styles, kreierte er nach und nach seinen eigenen, energiegeladenen und abwechslungsreichen Style! Von anfangs privat organisierten Partys, über die eigene Partyreihe (Mind fuckin.. Beatz) im väterlichen Club, bis hin zum mit NH_Events gemeinschaftlich organisierten Club-in-Club Projekt Club E-lectribe in Kassel, hat Alex Haas quasi alle Stationen eines DJs durchlaufen und spielt seine Sets mittlerweile nicht mehr nur im Nordhessischen Raum. Gemeinsam mit Newman ist er Resident im Club E-lectribe und das Club Projekt eröffnete den beiden neue Möglichkeiten. Sets bei diversen lokalen Radiosendern, im U60311 in Frankfurt oder der Gig in den Sandsteinhöhlen Halberstadt sind nur einige Stationen, die Alex mittlerweile vorweisen kann. 2009 startet Alex Haas nun das nächste Kapitel seiner Laufbahn und will sich neben dem Auflegen auch aufs Produzieren konzentrieren. Chris Liebing is synonymous with techno. His legacy is long assured, but his craft never stops evolving. Whether as label head, podcast curator, DJ or producer, he continues to challenge himself and his audience to explore new realms in the electronic world. And often ahead of the curve, too, from the early, hard-edged and loopy 90s sound which is back en vogue today, through his more stripped-back turn of the millennium minimalism and onto the cinematic atmospheres and broader alternative electronica of his latest albums on Mute. It's no stretch to say, then, that Chris Liebing's story is closely connected to the story of techno itself. 

Liebing is considered a global techno ambassador, but his ambitious album projects and direct club tracks excite and innovate as much as any new school star. A proudly forward-thinking attitude ensures that is the case as his DJ tools and studio setup constantly evolve. He continues to be an early adopter of emerging technology, too, just as he was with vinyl controllers, Traktor and when leading the way with full hybrid/live DJing. 

These days, Liebing incorporates an ever wider sphere of sound into his own work. After an eight-year break from full lengths, 2018's Burn Slow on Mute was a creative rebirth that received critical acclaim and confounded all expectations. It was a melancholic mediation on gothic moods, looming apocalyptic landscapes and optimistic broken-beat techno that drew from his childhood love of Depeche Mode, Gary Numan and the New Romantic movement. 

Remixes for Depeche Mode and Goldfrapp followed alongside a collaborative single with Charlotte De Witte, and 2021 brought a second album on Mute, Another Day. It found Liebing exploring all new ways of expressing both his euphoric and melodic side, all with high-grade technical skill and meticulous sonic craft with a range of collaborators from Miles Cooper Seaton to Polly Scattergood. This exceptional form continued into 2023 as he returned to the club with his Love Those Who Fight With Passion And Faith EP on CLR, a passionate and politically charged call to the dance floor that joined Liebing and Luke Slater’s remix of Depeche Mode’s iconic ‘Ghosts Again’ in the first half of the year. 

Born in Giessen and active ever since the 1990s, Liebing has always platformed the talent around him as much as himself: a long time before they were commonplace, he famously helmed his own CLR podcast. For many years, it was the scene's most influential series, with a who's who of international pioneers at the helm. After that came the equally important AM/FM radio show, but now following a hiatus, the CLR podcast is back and pushing a fresh techno agenda, as is his iconic label of the same name.

In its first chapter, CLR stood for Chris Liebing Records, then Create Learn Realize, and now Create Learn Repeat - a subtle evolution that is at the heart of everything Liebing does. The label will always be synonymous with exciting techno and is now back hosting parties and festival stages. 

Though his music is underpinned by pulsating menace and a stomping sense of drama, Liebing himself is friendly with a famous smile. It is the music that motivates him and the freedom that comes with increased experience. These days there are no limits, no expectations, but a continued love for the art and craft of techno that is taking him down all new creative pathways.

Gayle Sans career already began in the early 90 s in her hometown Singapore. She started as a warmup DJ for Bands such as Kool and the Gang Earth Wind and Fire and the Commodores,in the Top ten club which was the club of that moment on that island. Leaving her native Singapore in 90 s,to pursue her dj career in the UK, nobody expected such a massive success for Gayle in the music business. Gayle's first steps into the London clubs were via DJing at record company parties, various one-off guest spots and fashion shows.


These slots soon led to Gayle being made resident at 'Reach for the Sky' at London's Limelight club, where she played alongside global DJs which Gayle describes as "the steepest learning curve possible". Having honed her DJing skills and broadened her understanding of music, Gayle began to experiment with the harder side of dance music, particularly the lesser known techno sounds coming into Britain from Europe and the US of that time. Her chance to pioneer this music in England came when Gayle became resident at Universe's legendary Final Frontier club, at Club U.K. in south London, which then moved on to become Universe Voyager at their new club, the Complex in north London,and she was also resident at all the Tribal Gatherings Festivlas. Final frontier was widely regarded as one of the best club nights in the world, it was not long before Gayle had amassed a following of techno pilgrims who would make journeys from as far as Edinburgh to hear her play. Gayle's reputation of her 3 decks mixing skills and dj sets spread like wildfire over the techno centres of Europe, most notably a residency once a month at the legendary Omen club in Frankfurt, the socalled 'Mecca of techno' that opened doors.


Other European and American dates have included some of the most underground clubs in the world,from playing at high profile parties for Prince,Chaka Khan and Kylie minogue to name a few, to playing clubs like Bionic in Detroit, Pure Pleasure parties in Chicago, Soma in Montreal, Twilo in New York, Zouk Club in Singapore, Florida 135 in Spain, Fuse Club in Belgium,M47 in Hungary and many more all over Europe, South America and the U.S.A. In 2000 she was voted number 6. of the most popular international DJs in Germany. Remaining in the top ten list has been a regularity ever since. In regards to the massive competition of the worlds DJs,and to be the only female dj in the top ten, it was an honour of her hard work in the last years. DJing has naturally led to various studio work and starting her own label Equator. Gayle has developed a sound that takes the intelligent beats of the underground, funky/hard/groove techno sound mixed with her very own style. Gayle loves producing on her own but also enjoys collaborations with other producers to absorb outside creativity. She has released on numerous labels throughout europe. Gayle has reduced her touring dates in the last 2 years,not surprising after travelling the world for 18 years to make more time for her production /collaboration works. Gayle never fails to rock the world..s dancefloor with her mixing skills and her choice of music. Gayle has already been called the best female techno legend and she is not ready to hang up her headphones just yet.
