Self Reflected is Adam Young’s solo project drawing influence from multiple music genres. Drawing inspiration from bands such as Sevendust, Korn, Breaking Benjamin, and much more. Each song sounds different from each other, yet they all feel, and sound like something Adam would do within the realm of always experimenting, and trying new things. Some bands he has been in are Missing Karma, Surrender Reality, Led Astray, Shattered, and The Taken. Adam has shared the stage with national acts such as Otep, Mower, American Head Charge, Bloodsimple, Motograter, and more. Self Reflected’s music covers the struggles of depression and overcoming it, addressing bullying, overcoming suicidal tendencies, fighting through the struggles of life, loss of a loved one, and way more. The lyrical content mixed with the music creates a whole atmosphere to experience in real time as the music is playing. Blood, sweat, and tears goes into each song. All of the music is written, composed, recorded, mixed, and mastered at Adam’s home studio called Self Reflected Studios.
