2014 was a quite sucessful year for Luis Flores, featuring the "Test Pattern EP" on CLR, appearances at Berghain as well as a visually and sonically impressive REAKTOR // Droid Behavior: Interface 49 showcase at ADE 2014. To start 2015 off with a blast Luis remixed Mutate's "Circle 3 EP" out on Blank Code. The remix features driving, percussive elements on an atmospheric fundament. Also out lately was „43“ for Alex Bau’s Credo Imprint.

And if that wasn’t enough, Corbin Davis’s remix takes a more ambient approach, stripping the track down while maintaining a deep and eerie tone that’ll rattle your cage.

After nearly a year since their sophomore album 'The Other', Pan-Pot return home to Second State with a stunning EP showcasing the duos proficiency for composing dynamic, cutting-edge Techno.
Over the span of three tracks, 'Solace' EP navigates through a trifecta of distinct styles that unquestionably bear the mark of Pan-Pot's masterstroke. Kicking it off at a breakneck pace is the title track 'Solace' with rapid fire low end and intense tones laying the bedrock for a wildly uplifting presentation of keys creating the ideal balance between opposing forces.
Up next is 'Consequence' which see the duo team up with Martin Eyerer for a newly styled trip down memory lane. By pairing key elements of the sounds of early Pan-Pot and contemporary production, the trio have succeeded in conceiving a fever inducing, big room hit.
Rounding out the EP is 'Lose Yourself' and it is by far the most grandiose of the trilogy. Lush pads and soaring sonic stairs build toward a zenith as the ceaseless chant of "lose yourself" escorts the traveller through an elated dream.
To top it all off, Pan-Pot personally enlisted the expertise of IMF's label boss, the mighty Marcel Fengler. With an astute awareness, Fengler weaves the original artifacts of ‘Lose Yourself' into a truly unique orchestration of rugged percussion and euphoric abstraction.
Although it's been a year since we last saw Pan-Pot on Second State, once you experience 'Solace', we think you'll agree, it's good to have the bosses back home.

Our first Dispatch main label release of the year, Mako takes us into the next century, following the Dispatch 100 album with an aptly name release – ‘The 101 EP’.

Leading on from his ‘Back To The Source EP’ in 2014, Mako has been a huge favourite of ours, effortlessly engulfing everything we love about the past and the present, with a distinctive ability to create raw, incredibly authentic music, with a vibe that hits the emotions just as sweetly as the bottom end pressure hits your chest. 

At the helm, the EP is led by a mighty track, in ‘The Mercenary’ alongside Andy Skopes, having caused some serious damage since its inception, littered by tough breaks and searing lows. An endemic character of Mako’s music and the rugged beats continue right through the release, including the serene amen journey ‘Looking Back’ and the super tight drum programming of ‘A Break From Suspension’.

Commencing our next chapter in style, Mako brilliantly illustrates his agenda for the future, paying mutual homage to the old skool, whilst pushing the limits our technology today.
