  Lee Nelson is an American singer-songwriter, producer, and musician born and raised in the urban area of South West Los Angeles. Being the grandson of singer\actor, Doo Wop innovator Bobby Brooks, who performed in such films as "Honeymoon Lodge", "This Is the Life", "Top Man", and "South of Dixie"; music is deeply rooted as a part of Lee's existence.
          From an early age he was drawn to the comfort of all things musically affiliated, picking up his first instrument at the age of 3, with the guitar being his 'tool of choice'. He was soon able to learn complex melodies and riffs by ear.
          Lee grew up listening to an array of different genres, ranging from the heavy strings of hard rock to the soulful sounds of Motown. In addition to his grandfather, his songwriting was influenced by musical legends Stevie Wonder, Pink Floyd, The Smith's, Sam Cooke, and The Cure.
          By his teenage years Lee had developed and executed proficient skill playing acoustic and bass guitar, piano, and the percussions. Working alongside with other young talent, Lee became a student of The Ebony Showcase Theatre run by Nick Stewart (Lightning) of the Original Amos 'n' Andy show.
          With dedicated talent, Lee soon began showcasing his skills in the years to come, in such hard rock bands as "Untamed" and "Spoiled rotten". In the early ninety's he began ghost writing for rap artists and soon started his own band "JAG" (Just Another Groove).
          After touring for some time, Lee turned his attention to help young troubled teens in need. He dedicated his time, instruments, and counsel to start and establish the "OG Rock Band" at the Oak Grove Center for Education Treatment & The Arts; consisting of a pianist, percussionist, acoustic/electric guitarist, bassist, and vocalist. They wrote and produced songs "My Own Sunshine" and "Recovery" to help spread awareness for Autism and Substance Abuse.
