BrightStar Nature hails from Baltimore, MD and has been a DJ/Producer for over 28 years. People truly connect with his sound, moving their bodies to the beat wherever they hear it! He loves seeing proof of his mission to heal and unite the world by dancing our pain away with music.
 
BrightStar Nature aims to take you on a journey that he likes to call an esoteric out of body experience brought from another dimension to entertain the masses. Before Co-Founding Kalunga Records, he was the pioneering inventor of Dirty Bass. Mixing Techno, House, Trance, Progressive, Baltimore club and Ghetto Bass gave birth to the sub-genre called Dirty Bass. BrightStar Nature creates and plays Trance, Tech Trance or Melodic Techno with a Hard Techno Bass infusion.
 
Throughout his 28 years DJing, mixing, producing, and performing, BrightStar Nature has accumulated a collection of monikers. Some of these include: DJ Digitek; Captain Jaxy; and Dr. Anderson. Yes, he also holds a Doctorate from the University of Oxford Kellogg College in Philosophy with a concentration in Conscious Business Ethics in addition to an AA in Audio Production from The International Academy of Art & Technology. His variety of monikers and education aptly predicts a variety of venues where BrightStar Nature has performed- he’s certainly no wallflower! From intimate private events to crowds of up to 40,000, BrightStar Nature embodies passion for his medium and the crowd. Five notable venues from the plentiful list are: Ultra (Miami); Amphitheater (Ybor City); Redwood Trust (Baltimore); Truth (Johannesburg, South Africa)
 
BrightStar Nature brings a lot of energy with him and can create a feeling in any room, no matter how large or small. He draws influence from fellow DJs in Baltimore and around the world including: DJ Technics; DJ Spen; Keoki; Paul Van Dyk; Mike Crosby and Grand Master Flash.

Jonathán Pérez, better known as Serio, is a Chicano Rap artist from Los Angeles, CA. His grandmother nicknamed him "Serio", which in Spanish means serious, because as a child he always had a serious look on his face. Serio has loved rap since childhood and started writing & rapping when he was a teenager. Serio made his professional debut as a rap artist in 2005 shortly before the release of his first album, Nightmares Turned Into Reality (2006). His single from that album, "I Got To Have You" gained rotation on select radio stations throughout the United States. Serio has had a great deal of success with his independent label, Serio Controla Records. 


To date, his label has released 4 solo albums and 3 DVDs, moving over a quarter-of-a-million units worldwide.
