Eddie Kowalski is a 38 year old musician who has been in several bands over the years but one of the most successful band was Upside Out of Laurel Maryland formed with Tom Kennedy, Steve Brown and Joe Tough from 1997-1999 the band self released two albums/CD's one self titled and second named "Assimilation". In late 1999 the band joined forces with Brian White (Dog Fashion Disco, etc) and recorded a 3 song studio recording with Bruce from The Hidden Hand (Wino) and a 6 song demo recorded on a 8 track Tascam recording console in Brian Whites's then basement/home. In late 2000 the band disbanded . Eddie recorded a few unplugged demos and then formed a project named The Detachment Theory with Upside Out's drummer Steve Brown and his brother Bill Kowalski on bass. They recorded an EP with Drew Mazurek (Nothingface, Linkin Park) in his home studio in Lutherville MD. Eddie enjoys writing lyrics, guitar riffs and chord progressions. He is married to a woman he fell in love with in the later days of Upside Out Amanda Shoffner. They had a son together Zachary Kowalski and also have 3 other children...Lily, Noah and Jacob. Eddie and Amanda are both in a recovery program and live in Dover PA.
