Following well-received 2012 collaborations with Angello on “Lights” and Cicada on breakout summer festival staple “Feel,” the duo’s latest original is a radio-ready melodic vocal anthem. Sporting their trademark immaculate production and a cheery layered synth lead, the single shines brightest in its well-crafted break and build that preface the punchy kick-driven drop.

"We were inspired to make a single with as much emotion and depth as possible,” says Third Party. “A lot of EDM now just focuses on the drop and skips over the breakdowns. We wanted to create a song that kept you engaged the whole time, and make you feel something the whole way through. With this all in mind it only felt right to release it with SIZE. There was nowhere else to go."

Welcoming our youngest ever member to the Toolroom Family. At just 16 years old, David Jackson has a huge future in front of him!

Every now and again a musical talent comes along that simply blows you away. David Jackson is one of those artists.  

Achieving a level of sonic quality and creativity that many experienced producers struggle to reach, the Toolroom A&R team signed this EP within minutes of hearing the tracks!  Two slices of underground mayhem- fusing elements of techno and house, and featuring deep ethereal sounds and vocals - this is high calibre electronic music. Gaining his first release on the parent label in the family, the 'Europa' EP shows how highly the Toolroom team see the potential of this young producer. 
 
Hailing out of Heidelberg in Germany, David Jackson has already seen early support from scene tastemakers. Kunkel & Moog spearhead a dynamic flowerbomb for the gardens. Three tracks consisting of liquid radioactivity comprise this enigmatic and effusive release. Patrick Kunkel and Mario Moog have been around for a long time and it shows in the precision and ingenuity found within the individual structures of Exciter, Expression, and Nightwaves. The tracks fall somewhere on the spectrum between techno and hypnotica, and each maintains the driving, groovy, and trippy flavors that are so familiar within the boundaries of the Tulipa realm.

Patrick´s sound can be described as straight ahead techno, but also taking in influences from house music. He presents tech-house music, partly monotone, but always under the aspect of being groovy. He combines the elements of a lot of different styles in order to show it as a whole.
 
In 1999 he founded the event and artist agency Global Tunes and organized various big events with internationally well-known artist. In March 2002 Patrick quit his job in this agency in order to focus on his own studio projects.
In 2003 he met Harold Todd from the Lenny Kravitz band and, following his passion to house music, they set up the project Sexy Pie. In 2004 they released their first single. In the same year he started to work for the Frankfurt based label Cocoon Recordings, where he is responsible for the digital distribution.
 
In 2006 his first EP gets released including a remix by Oliver Koletzki. A lot of other releases followed – cooperations with and remixes from artists like Guy Gerber, DJ Sneak, Boris Brejcha, Mendo, Alex Flatner, Broombeck and studio partner M.in speak for oneself.
 
In 2010 he produced the Ibiza-Spotlight-Podcast for Cocoon Recordings, which represented the sound of the label of this summer. Later that year he was also responsible for the Bonus Mix for the „Sound Of The Eleventh Season“ by Sven Väth.

2011 has been a highly productive year: Patrick´s remix for Extrawelt´s Titelheld hit the third place of the Beatport techno charts. He also mixed the retrospective Mix-CD of „11 Years Cocoon Recordings“. In the same year he finally set up his own label Insist Music.

Patrick´s own music and remixes can be found on countless esteemed label like Cocoon  Recordings, Suara, Kling Klong, Leena, Form Music, Octopus, BluFin and keinemusik amongst others. His remixes are highly appreciated by colleagues and so it is no wonder that artists like Extrawelt, Boys Noize and Lützenkirchen rely on his works.
