"I Wanna Dance" is a full-circle moment for me. House music was the vibe that first got me hooked on EDM when I was 15, and this track is my way of revisiting that hype. I discovered Star through one of her videos, where she shared a snippet of her original song that immediately resonated with me. Inspired by vocal performance, I extracted the vocal track from the reel and transformed it into new production "What I Become."

The original lyrics, written by Star, capture the introspective emotions of turning 25 and navigating the shifting dynamics of adulthood. After completing his remix of the vocals, I sent the track to Star, who was excited with the transformation. This collaboration has led to additional upcoming original collaborative releases, including "Everybody" and "Last Call" set to drop in the coming months.

I went on a road trip after graduating from university this past summer and it was on this trip that I had initially came up with the chord structure and melody for this tune. Inspired by summer days in L.A. and ocean waves, Aubren and I wrote Escape founded on the principals of taking risks and trying something new with the people you love in order to achieve something more than our socially constructed confines. I went for something different on this one. An experimental orchestral piece recorded using 3dio 360 degree binaural microphones. We wrote this via Skype sessions after Abhi moved to France. With Lights Out we wanted to express raw power, energy, and emotion through distinct synths with melodic overtones, and a journey of ups and downs, tension, and balance.

Hi everyone I'm very excited to finally present "Choices" my newest original single. When writing Choices, I wanted to create a bouncy song that will get everyone jumping out of their seats, from rave squads to casual listeners alike. Lately I've been really working on translating my emotions into my music. I wrote this tune in the days following my January "Lights Out" release hitting the Spotify Viral Top 50. Needless to say, I was in a great mood when I initially wrote this song, however throughout the writing process there were various ups and downs in the world around me and I sought to capture that contrast between intense highs and lows within the arrangement and vocals.

When Illenium released Crawl Outta Love I immediately fell in love with the arrangement, structure, and melodic vibe of the track. Annika's vocals really spoke to me and the moment I heard her voice I was attracted to her raw talent and emotion in her incredible vocal performance. Needless to say, the original left me extremely inspired. I think electronic dance music as a whole is really lacking songs with raw and emotional vocals like Annika's, many producers get lost in making intro, break, build, drop, repeat and I think it really takes away from many productions these days. I had met Nick at a couple of festivals and shows we played together and with the culmination of all of this, I reached out to Nick (Illenium) over Twitter messages to make a remix, to which he sent over the vocal stems. I was super inspired to jump right in, but practiced restraint as I wanted to maintain the structure and raw emotional, melodic orchestral feel to the song with my own production. As I was just sent the vocal stem, I was given the chance to let my production shine through, crafting an entire instrumental to Annika's voice and Nick's vocal editing. I went to work creating my own rendition of the song staring with real instruments: piano, strings, and orchestral percussion to create some theatrical tension leading up to the hard hitting melodic drops, which share sounds and influences from my past releases in the future bass, dubstep, and trap realms. I've worked on and off this remix for about 12 months now and my hope is that as a listener you'll be taken on a  sonic journey similar to the one I took in remixing this song. I want to thank Nick and his team for letting me play with his incredible original and I hope listeners will enjoy my fresh take on this incredible original.

"The Wall" is the follow up song to my last release, "https://soundcloud.com/patrickreza/tiptoe" , the first song to ever feature my own vocals. Continuing down my path of singing, and experimenting with more organic instruments and sounds, I approached the creation of "The Wall" with my perspective set as a songwriter to share my story of struggles and frustrations when relationships and experiences in life seem to go a different way 
than expected. On the production side, I wanted to keep a similar vibe and instrumentation to Tip Toe, tapping into my own personal experiences, raw emotions, and lyrics. I wrote The Wall for anyone that has experienced the stress and pain when it feels like life's testing you in your experiences and personal relationships and you feel like an alien from another dimension living in the wrong universe.
