Psytrance/ Darkpsy DJ - Produceur

Passionate about electronic music since the early 2000s, Xavier first made his mark in the free party scene as a DJ and producer. He notably performed on vinyl with the label "Le Diable au Corps." In 2014, he delved into the world of psytrance after attending the Hadra festival. A year later, his project Kusmu was born, and his style quickly refined, evolving into a psychedelic and resolutely groovy sound. In 2018, he was spotted by the label "Goa Productions," where he would develop over the next few years and release two EPs. He also appeared alongside major names in the international scene on several compilations from prestigious labels. In 2024, a new chapter begins as he joins the roster of the label "World People," for which he is preparing his first EP! Stay tuned...

Born in the deep heart of Damascus Syria, Sami aka Ollie, started his musical journey at an early age. playing the guitar and listening to classical music. Despite his love for his instrument, he knew deep inside that there was something more to music, that he had yet to discover.
In 2011, Sami was introduced to electronic music , instantly sparking his curiosity. He quickly got into experimenting with synthesizers, discovering the vast sonic possibilities they offered.
The year 2015 marked a turning point in Sami's musical journey when he encountered psytrance within France's underground scene. Instantly, he fell under its spell. He knew that this is what he was looking for in music and quickly got into producing it. 
Slowly, he developed a distinct sound identity influenced by his origins, his classical musical studies and endless hours of experimenting with synthesizers.
Since 2020, he has been sharing his knowledge with a growing community on his YouTube channel, where he shares psychedelic production & sound design tutorials and preset packs.
