Anomali at Noise Vandals Techno Night #301

23rd edition of Extracoporeal Therapy brings a new invited to our podcast series, chilean hypnotic techno dj Start The Riot.

Joyce Contreras aka. Start The Riot is a deep & hypnotic techno dj from Santiago, Chile. She developes an underground sound, dark style and a low profile, which has lead her to have several gigs in Chile playing at Espacio 93 (booker at 2021), Dosis Records Showcase and Black Spot Pucón, where she have shared stage with some of the most prolific techno djs of her country like The Ripped, Nplnss, Katalina Schwarz, Sarnival, Gronotek, Sam Wilson and Chrysalis Totem. Between her podcast series we can find Temple, Destruct and NBM's Multiverse Connection.

Nowdays she's starting her own event planner named Cadence, with a first gig with LD Hypno, Pardini, Marcelo Antonio, Sam Wilson and Vlmonacid.

Segue is Jordan Sauer from Vancouver, Canada. He makes electronic music on his computer, everything from ambient and drone to dub and techno. With a keen attention to the sounds chosen in each composition, the music is built up of layers of tones and textures using recordings of acoustic instruments and everyday events.

Podcast #005 : Sonitus Eco. 

Deep, dark, melancholic ambience infused with lush pads echoing throughout the rhythmic elements of dub." Sonitus Eco is the moniker and project of dub techno maltese producer Justin Meli. Having a vast discography throughout the years with releases on labels like Silent Season, ROHS!!, Subself Records, Evasion Room Records, Pinkpube and Deepindub - his unique sound knows no boundaries. 2012 saw his debut album "it is loneliness that makes the loudest noise” on Silent Season, and also remixes for several artists over the years.
In 2015 he joined forces with maltese dj and avid music collector Serial Depth to start a small independent label called Haar Records. Their aim for the project is to share their vision of fog filled, mist-oriented techno. The first release is set to be coming out on vinyl in early 2016.
Sonitus Eco also forms part of a live project with another local artist as ‘Haddiela’. Their sound can be described as floor techno, derived from modular systems and FM synthesis.

"From time to time I do a silent season mixes , especially when playing in outdoor venues , as i feel the music has a special connection with the outdoors . I recorded this podcast while playing live at statix festival 2015 , Malta . playing only tracks from the wandering 2 compilation , which has more than 3 hours of blissful music"..

INVEINS \ Podcast 005 \ Sonitus Eco

As both a DJ and producer, @refracted-music is coming into his own. The past year has seen him release the lush Through the Spirit Realm LP on @silent-season, secure slots on the summer festival circuit and hit the studio to work on a host of new productions, to be released on his own Mind Express label and elsewhere. His career has taken him from his hometown of Majorca to Berlin, a city which has allowed him to pursue music more actively and to carve out a space of his own within the techno scene.

Refracted took the headline shift at the September edition of Patterns of Perception, treating us to three hours of intense, intelligent techno which weaved masterfully between various tones, textures and emotions. To help us relive the night, we are happy to present an hour-long recording of his set.

Raroh, is a born and living in Warsaw producer and live-performer focused on the hypnotic, misty and intense techno side. His main musical goal is to tell an engaging story in which the listener can completely immerse and get lost. Under the influence of local events with electronic music, he began, at a young age, to discover new electronic sounds, rhythms and sounds, which resulted in his productions. In his music, Raroh talks about things that happened, in different places and at different times, creating new constellations and combining them into one, coherent story.

Svarog est l'un des dieux de la mythologie slave, la divinité du métal et du feu, l'opérateur de la forge. C'est aussi le nom artistique d'Oleksa Moroz, musicien et DJ de Lviv, en Ukraine.

Sa carrière a débuté en 2015 avec la sortie d'un EP sur le label culte Circular Limited, qui présentait les meilleurs sons de techno profonds et audacieux, où textures et ambiances allaient de pair avec la puissance du beat.

Svarog is one of the Slavic mythology gods, the deity of metal and fire, the forge operator. It is also the artistic name of Oleksa Moroz, musician and DJ from Lviv, Ukraine.

After coming back from Hamburg to his home city Turin, Edoardo Zerbinati totally reorganized his life, together with setting up a new studio in the town.

Back in that cloudy, rainy, romantic place where he was initiated to the Techno music culture, he saw the release of his debut album on Silent Season and, after that, the label has been selected as “label of the month” by Resident Advisor.

Some months later, the canadian label also put out an Edanticonf’s EP with a remix by the mysterious Sweden producer Abdulla Rashim. This collaboration on a limited vinyl was charted in the Top Techno Chart by some of the most important vinyl shops through the world.

All the textures in this set are written and produced by Edoardo Zerbinati with using mainly analog equipment (additional production by Iori and Decoside, remixed by Edanticonf). A lot of pieces of music are unreleased or played in a live version and due to this reason it’s not possible to attach a complete track list. The man and the perception of the infinite are the main themes of his compositions; Techno music lends itself to this goal with the integration of sounds inspired by natural landscapes.

InDepth invites OPL [Outpost Live]

Podcast 112 is a very special one coming at you from Retina.it, the electronic music project of Lino Monaco and Nicola Buono. The duo’s shared, long-lasting love for synths and sound recordings has fuelled the continuous exploration of their sonic identity spanning over the last 20+ years, culminating in multiple albums, collaborations and exemplary live performances.

One of the most memorable Retina.it moments for us had to be the Spazio Disponibile showcase with Make Me in London, May 2018, where they joined Donato Dozzy and Neel for an all night long live performance. The boys took us on the ultimate trip and it was a night that will stay with us for a long long time to come.

Their talent for creating sublime minimalist electronica, analogue rhythms and psychedelic soundscapes ensures they bring something truly stand-out to the scene and so we couldn’t be happier to bring you their contribution to the 5th Day series.

MTRL is a versatile art and music project by Sound Designer and Artist Lukas Weinlein. Playing various instruments for years, he started experimenting with different sounds at a young age, tapping into many different styles of music. 
This insightful journey shaped his current understanding of music and ultimately led him to the endless possibilities of hypnotic electronic music, inspired by the infinite cosmos and organic voices of nature. Having bonded with a multitude of great artists helped to refine his style and created a sphere of inspiration around him. 
The name for this specific art project was chosen because the definition of the word material, the matter from which a thing is or can be made, fits the purpose of the project very good. So the aim of MTRL is to create an audiovisual experience from existing or non-existing matter for open-minded brains. 

Together with Dycide and Polygonia he is one of the minds behind the label IO Records. 
His various releases on labels like lowless-music, solid-shape-records and alexandarsound are played by some of the most established artists of the Hypnotic and Deep Techno scene and he is a really interesting up and coming artist to follow.

Anders Hellberg grew up in the south of Sweden, but has his home and studio in Berlin. He started to make music in the early 2000's. Now focusing on modular soundedesign and has got a big love for complex patches. 

The tracks he makes are hypnotic, atmospheric, with droning soundscapes and morphing entities. Anders Hellberg released many high quality EP's on diffrent respectable lables out there such as @northallsenrecords, @circularlimited, @nferee and @ordinamentoselettivo. 

He just started his own record label Cinus with the first release out featuring remixies from Doctrina Natura and Kontinum.
