Mantuve el espíritu original pero le añadí un groove más fuerte para acercarlo a las vibras de hoy. Perfecto para esos momentos de pura energia o simplemente para dejarse llevar, ya sea sumergiéndote en los ricos ritmos de la Cumbia psicodélica o dejando que la música te lleve a un viaje más allá de lo usual.

My take on ‘El Diablo’ by Compay Quinto, originally released in 1968. The track blends styles like Psychedelic, Guaracha, Son, Guajira, and Rumba. I kept the original spirit but added a stronger groove to bring it closer to today’s vibe. Perfect for those late-night moments or just vibing out, whether you’re sinking into the rich rhythms of the Psychedelic Cumbia or letting the music take you on a journey beyond the usual.

Joe Arroyo is one of the most famous artists in Colombia. Was born in Cartagena and died in Barranquilla in 2011. He was aware with a Grammy Latino and got multiple awards in Barranquilla's Carnival. His life was dedicated to composing and singing salsa and tropical music, he stared really young and became really early an icon from Colombian folklore.

Barrio Latino presents "the edit series". A collection of world music classics "made to play".

From the deepest respect the main intention of this series is to expand music culture by approaching world music to the electronic music world where they can be played in dj sets and get discovered by new audiences.

We are trying to be loyal to the original track and just give them that touch to make the playable.

This is a chance for people to get in touch with artists that otherwise they would never discovered and the first step to dig into their musics, their cultures and their lives.
