DeepDownDirty is delighted to have the honour of working with Suddi Raval, a creative with a career spanning over thirty years who has been involved in the acid scene since its very conception.
Suddi lay down his roots at the infamous Haçienda where Hardcore Uproar (which Suddi wrote with Jonathan Donaghy under the name 'Together') was a firm favourite; a track which reached number 12 in the UK singles charts.  
He has since scored the soundtrack for over 100 video games including Spiderman, The Simpsons, Star Wars, Batman, Harry Potter and the Marvel series of LEGO video games.
Suddi is also the author of A Brief History of Acid House and teaches music technology and dance music history at the Brit School.
He is currently producing Electro and Acid House under his own name and hopes to continue with his tour shortly, which was cut short due to the Covid pandemic.

NYC DJ Lenny Fontana started working on this song he knew right away that singer songwriter Vangela Crowe was right for this. Vangela heard the instrumental and knew the kind of song that needed to be written on top of the instrumental. Vangela always thought about a song that can have a call and a response to it. Well the rest is history as she came in the studio and sang the song and with the help of Lenny Fontana, they were able to sculpture this fine crowd favorite. Vangela has that sultry R&B Sound that this generation needs and with her on the lead vocal this is a winner.

Cosmic Boogie asked me to put a mix together for his re-launched blog so I put this edit together as a little exclusive for the mix and thought I'd share it here seeing as the original version (either on Chicago's Gherkin or or Italy's D-Vision) is currently changing hands for £40 plus on Discogs!

Released back in 1991, it's still for me one of the most seductive house records ever...

A few things gigwise for February. As well as the usual bit's at West London's 'The Regent' and East London's 'Big In Japan' night, I'm also playing for the Shameless Disco boy's at The Drop in Stoke Newington alongside rising star Ben Sun, really looking forward to that.
