Just after Xmas I reached out to Tom Heist after hearing his awesome remake of ‘Aha Ha Ha’ and asked if he would be happy if I completed the remake. He agreed and sent me the bits, I spent a bit of time in quarantine just after I arrived into Australia from the UK and started. I sourced some of the samples missing from a live Hixxy set and processed the audio files in spectral layers. The results were quite good so I pushed on. I recently revisited the project file and mixed down the song from scratch. This is the result. Cheers, Ben (Haze)

A showcase mix of some of my forthcoming tracks - some will be released on Kniteforce, Knitebreed or 2DR - others are as yet unsigned. All breakbeats - my kickdrum led stuff can wait for another mix. There's a mix of old skool hardcore, 1994-era happy hardcore, breakbeat hardcore and jungle. Starts around 145bpm, finishes around 170bpm.

Comments from Kniteforce boss Luna-C:
"Another 4×4 remix, and this one stands firmly in the 1995 arena as far as sound goes. The intro is very authentic, with the off beat stabs and 909 sounding hi hats etc. A nice piano breakdown and then the track is bouncing along. The vocals are a little low in the mix, and the overall sound is a little muffled, but there is good solid work here. If I had have received this remix in 1995 from an established artist, I would have been pleased to put it out. Definitely a solid, authentic, period piece  – very nice!"
