This seminal 80s song by David Bowie isn't an obvious choice as an acoustic solo  cover, but I challenged myself to find a way to carry off, and now I play it live all the time. I thought I would do my own recorded version, which sounded a little flat as guitar/voice sound compared to the intimate feel of my live version. So I started added a few extra grooves and sounds to beef it up, and ended up with this acoustic funk / Talk Talk vibe.

The Andrews Brothers stellen met veel trots hun allereerste album voor! Stuk voor stuk originele arrangementen van die prachtige oorlogsliedjes. Deze songs kan je nergens anders vinden, dus als je graag nog eens die typische 30's en 40's sound in je huiskamer wil horen swingen, ben je zeker aan het juiste adres met dit album van The Andrews Brothers.

Dit is niet zomaar de zoveelste verzameling van liedjes van The Andrews Sisters. Dit zijn allemaal originele oorlogsliedjes van voor en/of door soldaten geschreven die actief waren in de eerste en tweede wereldoorlog.
