I think one of the hardest questions I’m ever asked is “what kind of music do you like?” Immediately my brain trails off in hundreds of different directions. 
I’m in love with so many different styles of music; it’s impossible to answer with just one band or one genre. I don’t think anyone can actually describe how much music means to them. Whether you’re going through a rough time or experiencing the time of your life, music enhances that moment.

This track is very different from my typical style. I wanted to try something different. Something to “break free” from the monotony of my own “Hybrid Trap” style. I no longer want to be seen/felt as an artist who limits himself to one genre. 

But in the same breath, NO, this doesn’t mean I’ve given up on Hybrid Trap bangers. Actually, I’ve got a bunch of INSANE releases being announced and released very VERY shortly. I’m just expanding my creativity, writing music I love and trying new things!

I had so much fun making ‘I Don’t Wanna Be Alone’ however, in the back of my mind I was questioning if anyone else would dig it (especially all of you guys). All that being said, this release is going to be somewhat of an experiment. Instead of constantly releasing heavy trap music, I’m just going to put my all into EACH and EVERY track and see where it goes.

Anyway, sorry for the long read, I just wanted to thoroughly explain my thought process. If you’re not feeling “I Don’t Wanna Be Alone” I promise that you WILL NOT be disappointed with the next few tracks ;)

Literally an hour after Boris announces that we can see the horizon of beautiful messy sticky dark noisy ravesssss, we are putting out our song about longing for the return of that culture! And I swear down this is just a truly wonderful coincidence! But it makes me feel really verrrrry happy. 🤗🤗🤗

The Blessed Madonna and I had a chat on zoom a few months back now and she was talking in the infinite and naturally poetic way that she does about, well really how everrrrrryone is feeling! And because we were writing it was being recorded! So I sampled it! And tuned her to be singing at times and I just reeallllyyy love it. And also an enormous big ups to the great Boston Bun who we produced it with.
