'Fallen Snow' brings both the familiar and the unique compositionally together. Lush, complex harmonies over the chorus bring a Beatle-esque feel to the composition. The song also creates a musical tension as it may appear as a somewhat slower tempo song based on the rolling vocals, but in reality is at a rapid 216 beats per minute. It also presents a unique 6/4 time signature not frequently used in pop/rock songs. Lastly, it says 'I love you' in a way not lyrically done before.

I’m a bass player song writer that has been working on an album for the last two years. The playlist Sly as Wolves may make a unique impression on you. You may love it or you might think wtf is going on.  But either way tell your friends tell everyone you know that Virtues Paths will point you in the right direction.

These songs were recorded by myself Paul Gerbi. Over two years I made a couple of different versions of the songs, they weren’t all that great, but I stuck to it just recording bass lines and synthesisers and then writing drum beats onto midi tracks. Then I discovered a couple of apps that let you publish midi files.

I managed to write, publish and master Alien Requiem, Ghost Train, Equinox and Antic Disposition using my own midi files from flat and mixing echos, phasers and other effects into the songs.

The two songs Slow Horse and Underground Circus were recorded customising my bass strings on a standard Fender Squire Jazz Bass. Making the E string a B string using the G string as an E string the A and D stayed the same. I managed to get a crazy effect on the strings and I thought that it sounded cool especially on Underground Circus. It made the bass and drums sound like they are talking to you.

Nightmares is recorded personally and I decided to sing over Equinox though they both have different endings. I played the synthesisers and bass myself too. The lyrics are intended as a duet but I’m impatient so I decided to record them myself. 

Circus and Lilies are also me playing bass and synthesisers. I entered Circus into Unsigned Only but sadly it didn’t even make the semi finals. I entered older versions of Antic Disposition, Alien Requiem, Equinox and Ghost Train but they weren’t very good and I’m not surprised I didn’t achieve much from the competition. 

I entered my songs because I wanted to see what people thought of them not getting a review I decided to re-record the songs and write guitar parts to some of them.

I’m glad people are listening to my songs all recorded in my flat in Bordon. The songs are about life’s ups and downs. Some are exciting and sometimes they are terrifying. I look into conspiracies and paranormal phenomena with an open mind. I enjoy the fear effect of life. Anticipating what’s around the corner.

I’m the type that walks dark alleys at night and stargazes when there are no clouds in the sky, and no lamp posts blocking out the stars in the sky.

Enjoy my songs and I hope they are the different vibe you wanted to hear. I’d like to call them Acid Rock songs but I’m not sure.
