The truth is that we all knew, deep in the darkest corners of our hearts, that the automaton could not slumber forever. We soothed ourselves with the easy lie that  its awakening was forever in the future. But on this awful day, that lie has crumbled, and the inexorable truth has descended upon us.

I was hoping to do something cheery. This is where I ended up. 
So far, JAMuary is delivering on the promise--I never know where I'll land, but I always end up with something as long as I start. 
Tools like iDS-10 are super interesting to work with because they force a very different way of organizing and effecting musical ideas. The limitations push me naturally into unexpected directions and inspirations.
