Juan is a producer based in Uruguay. He grew up listening to Pink Floyd's music and bands from the 60’s and 80's. With the years he immersed himself into Progressive electronic music after finding Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Sasha, John Digweed and Guy J's sounds. He released music on labels such as Mango Alley, Manual, Deepwibe, Balkan Connection and many more. His music has been played recently in Hernan Cattaneo's Resident and in his latest b2b with Nick Warren at ADE.

Kaseys Bio 

One of the most loved names on the Australian dance music scene, Kasey Taylor made his mark in his hometown of Melbourne before John Digweed scouted him in the mid- nineties to play at his infamous Bedrock night in London. That was the catalyst for Taylor to take his sound to a global audience, leading to international exposure and a permanent move to Portugal to satiate the demands of his worldwide bookings. Currently, he is the creative power behind no less than three record labels. That includes the highly revered Vapour Recordings, the 23-year old mainstay which is over 150 releases deep, and the off-shoot imprint eVapour8, which topped the Beatport charts with its very first release. The most recent addition to his portfolio is Lo-Fi 45, which has seen Kasey take on a mentor role to use his years of experience to identify, sign and nurture local Australian talent. 2019 is a year of change for Kasey, not only is he experiencing a personal and creative renaissance, but he is initiating a complete rebrand across the board. His Vapour Recordings has just gone through a revamp which will include a new online portal. That will also coincide with an exciting release roster of new music that is already creating excitement with some of the scene’s biggest players. Top that off with a packed bookings schedule and the future is set for one of Australia’s most popular dance music artists to introduce himself to a brand new generation of dance music connoisseurs.

Karl Pilbrow's passion and appreciation for music has been a lifelong affair. Originally coming from New Zealand, he moved to Melbourne in early 2012.
In the years following Karl began to experience the outdoor festival culture the city is renowned for, he could not help but fall in love with electronic music. This new-found affection took him to all parts of the globe, intent on learning more about the outdoor music culture, the communities involved, and most importantly… the music.
Fast forward to today and you’ll find one of the best exponents for Progressive House in Melbourne. Atmospheric, melodic, uplifting and groovy, Karl has dedicated himself to refining a sound that is true to himself and the music that inspires him.
In a career that only began five years ago Karl’s meteoric rise already seen many highlights. These include playing sunset on Sunset at Rainbow Serpent 2019, warming up for Guy J and Roger Martinez, playing after Nick Warren.
He has also had releases on Hernan Cattaneo's label Sudbeat Music and Kasey Taylor's Vapour Recordings.
Karl is also an integral part of community events company Wildwood, not only as a resident DJ but as an event manager and curator for @wildwoodpodcastseries. . This has produced the perfect creative outlet for both his music and his love for festival culture.

You can also hear for the first time the incredible remix of Karmon for our track 'Time We Spent Together'. It will be released end of February alongside the Makebo remix that we've been playing for a while now.

JFR - Secret Feelings Vol 61 (December 2023)

My annual "This Was" series features my favorite tracks of the year from my own labels (Sound Avenue, 3rd Avenue, Future Avenue & Crossfade Sounds). 2023 was an amazing year filled with tons of great music. For this 3.5-hour mix, I had a "shortlist" of 130 tracks, and 36 made it to the final tracklist. As always, the mix starts with some (dub)techno tracks from the Crossfade Sounds label and builds up from there, exploring the deeper side of progressive house. Paul Hazendonk and his Manual Music is one of the backbones of electronic music in the Netherlands and beyond. Max Cooper, Hernan Cattaneo, Eelke Kleijn, Matador, Robert Babicz, John Tejada, Petar Dundov, Henry Saiz and Guy J are among a list of the world’s finest producers who made it onto the prolific Dutch imprint. The kind and gentle Rotterdam native label boss has seen over 35 countries as a DJ and released music on labels such as Diynamic, Sudbeat, Poesie Musik, 3000grad, Sony/Epic and numerous other infamous labels.

Born in the suburbs of Rotterdam in the early eighties, Paul Hazendonk developed an excessive interest for music at a young age. He secured his first club gigs by the time he turned eighteen and international gigs followed shortly after. In his early twenties Paul honed and perfected his craft through residencies at various clubs including the legendary Las Palmas, Rotterdam.

In 2000, Hazendonk started working at the renowned record store Basic Beat which was in the heart of Rotterdam. It was here he released his first mix compilations and A&R’d for various labels leading to the birth of Manual Music in 2005.

In 2014 he released his long-awaited debut album ‘Adapt’ which showed his versatility as a producer. The LP included collaborations with Sian Evans of Kosheen, Alice Rose, Patchy, Noraj Cue, Olaf Stuut and spoken word wizard The Lazarusman. Five years later his second album ’Signed’ followed, a compilation of his Signature EP series accompanied by a batch of fresh remixes.

Although people like to genre-tag artists nowadays, it’s not easy to do so with Paul Hazendonk. Throughout the years of his career he has crafted his own distinctive sound. Elements of house- and techno music are blended with warm basslines and melodies but without losing sight of the dance floor.
