It's the end of my bits!

After a few years of doing this series of bits I'm bringing it to an end with one last large one. Ten of the biggest bits coming your way for this bandcamp friday. As always they're free or pay what you like, but if you donate on friday i get to keep 100% of the revenue which is AMAZING.

Putting out these bits into the world has been a wild experience. They started off as ways to encourage me to finish tunes off during the indoor times. Without gigs I really had no motivation to get anything done and with your generous donations I managed to get through those times without having to pack it all in, which i'm really really really grateful for. The mighty Z-Trip steps in hour 2 for his superb 'All Access - A Beastie Boys Megamix' to coincide with their new album. We don't have a track list but you'll recognise plenty of tracks from their catalogue mixed and spliced the way only Z-Trip can. Starting with 'Paul Revere' from Licensed to Ill and all the way up to their latest album Hot Sauce Committee, including a recording of the WBLS show where a young Z-Trip first heard the Beasties.
DK returns for the last section with another track from Elzhi and his Elmatic mixtape, followed by original hip hop from the Widstyle movie. We switch to Analog Africa reissues of Orchestre Poly-Rythmo and Rob, new music from Owiny Sigoma Band and a rare Fela cover from '75 by Johnny & Orquesta Rodrigues. It's a track off the Africa Hitech album, turkish psyche funk from Mustafa Özkent and we close with jazz from the Harry Roche Constellation

AfroQBen is back with his debut album Liquid Gold Remixed Vol.1. The album was originally released back in the end of 2012. The remixes are coming in the full and busy season of the summer, to refresh our brains with hot remixes!


Big remix artists names like Qdup Foundation from Washington DC, who is about to release his debut single on Fort Knox Recordings, opens the album remixes by giving a massive big beat remix with tons of dub and ghetto funk over Massive Move Forward song, up next the mighty Empresarios from the same team are giving their rumba house remix over Cafe song. 
From Brazil our friend and fellow artist Trotter is giving another version with a great disco beat over Cafe. House Fly continues with acid disco vibes from label master Timewarp inc, with extra funky house attitude. Father Funk mixes Lift Yo Body into a strict funky breaks bomb while Nunfus Corporation are giving their amazing ghetto funk grooves over Everybody Jump. Congo Sanchez (Drummer from Thievery Corporation) is giving us a great downtempo dub and groovy remix over Choices in Life. Dirty Heart is taking a deep dub remix from Zebuel (a.k.a Zeb) and last remix is closing the ep with a great downtempo groove remix from Drumspyder on Dream The Impossible. Plus two bonus instrumental remixes are included on the release!
