Mattei & Omich and vocalist Ella make their debut on Soulfuric Trax with ‘God Make Me Phunky EP’. The title track features a suitably funky bassline with infectious groove, tight percussion and string stabs that play out alongside memorable spoken vocals courtesy of Ella in the main version. Cleptomaniacs put their stamp on the tune with an eerie melody overlay on their remix, while ‘Your World’ follows the same formula with killer funk samples and a groove-laden beat, rounded off with more life-affirming Ella vocals.

Harry Romero returns to the Defected fold with his debut on DFTD. Known for being one of the most versatile producers on the scene over the last two decades, it’s hard to name a producer with a discography to match. ‘Revolution’ might sound familiar, as it has been kicked around as a bootleg for many years, a secret weapon for DJ’s such as Kenny Dope, Derrick Carter, Kerri Chandler, Loco Dice, Carl Cox, Honey Dijon and more. Finally getting the attention it deserves with a timely full release, ‘Revolution’ is a straight up modern Jersey jam, layering that familiar vocal loop over tight percussion guaranteed to get any dancefloor jumping.

Catz 'N Dogz are some of our oldest extended Dirtybird Family, spanning multiple EPs, a couple albums, some remixes, and we even presented their very first release as 'Catz N Dogz' as they transitioned from their old 3 Channels alias in 2007. It's been over 4 years since they've been on the label, and we're ecstatic to have them back with 'The Feelings Factory'. 

'Fine Feelings' features the legendary vocalist Robert Owens, and sounds like a classic deep house track from the late 90's when no one called it deep house, they just danced to it all night in warehouses. 

'Factory Settings' includes additional production from London's Joseph Ashworth, and from the first note to the last its filled with driving intensity and an ascending cacophony of rhythms and voices.

Influential DJ, producer and label owner Adam Beyer takes to his own Drumcode imprint to deliver his latest peak-time floor-filler in the collaboration with Bart Skils titled 'Your Mind'.

If you’ve caught a set from Adam Beyer recently, chances are you remember this track causing mayhem. ‘Your Mind’ is a banging new collaboration with Dutch talent Bart Skils, and it absolutely caught the attention of his Timewarp, Awakenings and Ultra set audiences with its haunting chorus chant. 

'Your Mind' is released via Drumcode on June 18.

Croatian duo PEZNT, aka Blacksoul and Mark De Line, make their debut on DFTD with their sunshiny ‘Down Under EP’ after the production duo appeared on the Defected Croatia 2017 compilation with their bongo-heavy ‘Burek’. Making a very strong start, lead track ‘Toxic Love’ received the Most Rated stamp of approval on the Defected Radio Show long before release. It features infectious vocals from Gregers laden with a deep bassline and piano riffs delivering pure summertime vibes. ‘Down Under’ boasts the same positivity with its down-tempo beat, dreamlike keys and filtered vocal stabs. An upbeat debut release by the duo, promising nothing short of feel-good records.

About a year ago I launched my label IPSO. First release was a collab with Michael Mayer. We made Dogma 1 and 2, and the tracks have been in heavy rotation ever since. I remember a magical morning at Panorama Bar where we played Dogma 1. It was one of those moments we all live for, where everything fell in place. Magical.

This summer IPSO 002 is released and this time it's a collab with none other than Tiga. We spent a couple of great days in my Copenhagen Studio, and I'm really proud of what we came up with.
This is the first track "HAL" from the forthcoming IPSO 002 E.P.

Opening track “Deepa” sees Ramon plant his feet firmly on the techno floors with an incandescent relentless assault on the senses , pounding kicks and staggered rises pull you in as the industrial rhythms take the track to beyond madness with its filtered vocal drops. 

“Club Pirate” takes things into more tech house territory but still retains the heavy hitting club feel Ramon is renowned for. Again we are treated to a chopped vocal that meanders around a dark and hypnotic heavy kick workout. 

Closing the EP we enlist Vinicius Honorio to remix “Club Pirate” and he delivers a super charged electronic masterpiece akin to the sounds of Maceo Plex and the likes, a fine remix on a mighty fine debut from Ramon Tapia

Ramon Tapia - Deepa [Out Now on Underground Audio]

Stephan Duy adds another feather to his cap as he releases his first-ever three-track EP via Code Black.

This release comes on the heels of two successful releases in the Code Red World of labels. The Swedish-Vietnamese producer debuted with "Jaipur" in March 2018. That led him to return to the label in June to release a free remix to Marcus Schossow and Corey James' previous single "Time Goes By". He shows off his edgier side with the release July 27 of the Insanity EP.

The EP begins with "Hands Together," an energetic take that brings an exciting bassline and memorable vocal hook. "Chasin'" is the second track, bringing a smooth and melodic vibe that serves as a strong contrast from the first tune. Rounding out the EP is the title track – "Insanity". With a pumping bassline and merciless vigor, this tune definitely shows the best has been saved for last.
