Patrick Wall was born in Cork, Ireland in 1976. He first started singing in the late 1980s and always loved rock 'n' roll, blues and country music.
 
Hi main influences include blues based country and rock 'n' roll artists Jerry Lee Lewis, Moon Mullican, Hank Williams, Jim Reeves, Elvis Presley, Jimmie Rodgers, Bill Monroe and Gene Vincent. As well as this, he also has major African American blues influences such as Robert Johnson, Blind Boy Fuller, Lowell Fulson, Sleepy John Estes, Piano Red, Leroy Carr, Ray Charles, Professor Longhair and Champion Jack Dupree. A love of all this music gave him the idea to record himself.
 
Patrick released his first mostly country CD "Chill on the hill" in 2007 and followed it up with another in 2008 (a bluesier collection called "Lay me down beside my darling") and another (the Moon Mullican tribute "The leaves mustn't fall") in 2009. His newest CD (No. 4 - "I'll sail my ship alone", a blues drenched collection) was now just released in 2010. 

Patrick has supported many charities including the Waterford Hospice, Autism, Education funding, Chernobyl Children's project and Haiti earthquake relief with these CDs and/or at various music events. 

On these CDs, there is a mix of blues and country and some of the songs are the Moon Mullican classic "Lay me down beside my darling", a Jerry Lee Lewis inspired "Jealous heart", an out and out blues "Blue like midnight", uptempo rock 'n' roll like "Flip flop and fly" and the bluegrass standard "The leaves mustn't fall".
 
As well as music, Patrick also was interested in an academic career and obtained a BSc, MSc, and Higher Diploma from WIT and an MBS from UCC. He has lectured in various colleges and VECs.
 
Patrick is at present one of the few Irish artists to mix blues and country as well as doing country music with a bluesier style. He is the first Irish artist to record Moon Mullican songs. He lives in Waterford Ireland at present.
