Spring 2016 saw the release of Stimming’s fourth full length album “Alpe Lusia”, which was named after a remote little alpine hut in northern Italy, in which he had secluded himself to work on his LP for a full month, all by himself. From the title track of his LP emanates his following release on Diynamic, the Alpe Lusia Remixes, and the remixing protagonists are none other than Robag Wruhme, long time collaborateurs Acid Pauli & NU and last but not least Solomun.

First off is Pampa mainstay Robag Wruhme, whose take on Stimming’s “Alpe Lusia” starts off as a dark and brooding tech house gem. Later, when you have made your way through its rough outer shell, peeling off the hard claps, it shows its soft core, with gentle pads caressing the arrangement.

Acid Pauli & NU deliver a deep and driving, almost haunting reinterpretation of “Alpe Lusia", with a thumping bass and ethereal vocals that are hypnotizing.

Finally, Solomun adds a remix that reminds you of the rabbit hole in Alice's Wonderland: the longer you dig, the deeper you get, and the more fantastic is what you experienece.

The original version is the only track on the album without a real groove, which is why Stimming chose precisely this track to be remixed - to see what the others would do about that. Now it is fair to say that all three remixes have succeeded at this task.

Vomvo is back with a cinematic story by the Danish artist Pete Oak. He is definitely one of the men to follow this year. Pete presents an amazing selection of pure electronic sounds giving his personal touch and offering his own soundtrack. Vomvo is a conceptual album created by Sincopat that gives a different artist every year the chance to orchestrate a personal vision of his sound. Darlyn Vlys was the first one to develop this concept and AFFKT continued last year with another stunning collection. In 2007, we have Pete Oak as the leader, so let's enjoy the journey: "For this VOMVO I wanted to create a dark, melancholic and emotional mood. I’m a big fan of the dark aspect of house music. For me it brings out a lot of emotions and joy - it pulls me into a small universe with no worries, no hate, no pain and no Donald Trumps - only love”. “All the music is handpicked from producers that I have worked with in one-way or another. About the Release : 

2016 was quite a big year for Connaisseur as we released some of our strongest tracks in a while. Next to Human Machine's "146" and "Connaisseur" by Peter Pardeike and Olderic, Peter's outstanding "Love Supreme" dominated last year's summer. The arp driven banger with the catchy "Love Supreme" vocoder is definitely one of the most important tunes we ever realised on Connaisseur, reason enough for us to drop a package of remixes now, one year later.

We are very happy that every remixer did an amazing job and that the results turned out super diverse.

The first interpretation is by the man behind the imprints Objectivity and These Eyes: Andre Hommen. The artist and producer based close to Cologne has brought the track right into the peaktime. We promise, you will never forget this bassline!

The second remix is by the highly talented dutch artist Love Over Entropy, who stayed close to the elements of the original, but has brought them into a completely new setting. Sunrise calling!

The third and last remix is by south German Krautelectro maestro Fred & Luna, already known for his work for the Innervisions crew. This interpretation is a heartwarming synth journey we instantly fell in love with.

PAUL NAZCA is an unconventionnal DJ based in the South of France. He was born and still lives near Arles, amongst the century-old olive trees grown by his family. He is a simple person who transcends the ages and fashions. Like an olive tree, he is never uprooted.

,At this stage of his career, spanning more than fifteen years at this point, PAUL has written his own page in the history of electronic music. He was a co-founder of the label SCANDIUM records and has released tracks on a number of labels including Kompakt, B Pitch Control, Boxer, F.U.Fcom and more recently on Skryptöm, Sleaze and Analytic Trail. He has evolved but has always remained loyal to his beliefs. 

In 2011, Paul joined forces with Maxime Dangles and Florian Combe. Together, they founded SIGN INDUSTRY, a new label that embodies the evolution of Scandium records nurrished by this new collaboration. 

Paul's productions always come from old analog machines associated to cutting edge technology. He always prioritises the use of machines rather than virtual instruments when he composes. His home studio includes 80% of analog machines. 

"NAZCA" is not the product of a style, but of a separation between eclectic and pure techno productions. His aim is not to release tracks using a different stage name to target a wider audience but to centre his techno tracks around the label Anemone based on an exclusivity agreement. 

Paul doesn't care about his personal exposure. It is music that matters and should be exposed, not the producer.
