Experience Paul Numi’s Finest Album YetWired on Wonder marks Paul’s third release in five years — a remarkable achievement for an artist who proudly remains 100% indie, yet surrounded by a world-class team. 

Paul: “Most bands find their voice in their twenties. I didn’t find mine until I was past sixty. But hey—better late than never, and certainly better than never at all.” 

The album is a vibrant mix: 
•	High-energy tracks steeped in the great British tradition, powered by driving bass and drums, layered with guitars and soaring keyboard riffs. 
•	Introspective songs like A Roving Still (Paul’s answer to Lord Byron’s So We’ll Go No More a Roving), What We Believe featuring a Nigerian gospel choir, and Guide Me Towards the Light with its psalm-like lyricism. 
Paul’s lyrics are poetic, often edged with irony, placing him among the very best English-language lyricists in Belgium. 

Behind the sound lies obsessive dedication: “We worked endless days and nights, being ruthless about what stayed and what had to go. We were purists—monks had nothing on us. From the Rickenbacker bass and vintage Telecaster to Fender amps and Ampex tape mastering. Every detail mattered. I had a super team, just as devoted to making a truly great album as I was. Kudos to them!” 

FROM THE 80S TO TODAY – PASSION NEVER FADES 

Paul was very active in the early 80s, performing with his band Angry Voices and supporting acts such as U2, Echo & The Bunnymen, TC Matic, and others. Life then took another turn: alongside being an artist, Paul also built a career as a top business executive. Traveling the world for work, he never left behind his passion for music, often taking his guitar on the road and playing gigs. Over the years, Numi performed in New York, Boston, Moscow, Beirut, and Warsaw, while also giving radio interviews in places as varied as Switzerland, Morocco, Saudi Arabia and the UK. In 2020, Paul Numi made his official return to music with the release of the album Chimera, followed by Parallel Lives in 2021. His music has since reached a global audience, with over 700,000 streams and views to-date.

09_Guide Me Towards the Light

Paul Numi is an indie artist with a deep-rooted passion for Britpop. A true independent spirit, he writes, performs, and even designs his own album artwork. He crafts songs that are both poetic and accessible, filled with genuine emotion and humanity. In 2025,  he released his best album yet, 'Wired on Wonder' – bold and full of energy.
Paul  Numi first gained attention in the  '80s, sharing the stage with legendary bands like U2, Echo & The Bunnymen, and TC Matic as part of his band Angry Voices. Life then led him down a different path, and Paul enjoyed a successful career as a top business executive, traveling the world. But his passion for music never faded. With guitar in hand, he performed everywhere from New York to Moscow.
In 2020, Paul made a  return to music with the release of his album 'Chimera', reigniting his creative spark. "Parallel Lives' followed in 2021.
