Thanks to grandma Billie for the phrase. A wonderful woman. I've yet to hear of this phrase existing prior, nor of it from anyone else since.
Scotty: Two yamaha storia II takes through a fender mustang III amp with differing fx, channeled accordingly, maybe, hopefully, and a handful of vocal takes layered. 

I can't get up today.
I've got no words to say.
Everything always replays,
and causes me dismay.

Earth, Air, Fire and Water, Naturally, came to mind to write and sing these words whilst accompanying D's wonderful and unique Guitar sound!

This cover of the CCR version of this Screaming Jay Hawkins classic began as an idea Josh had for Eclectic Collective putting on a musical Halloween costume. He was inspired by his favorite band, Phish, who cover an entire album every Halloween as a musical costume. Although, which song we covered was up for debate from the start. 
  Once we decided on a song, Josh laid down the skeleton for it on his '71 SG. Once we had a framework to work with, Ken laid down his rocking drums, followed by Josh completing the rhythm section by adding his trusty P-bass. Even though the song was now in its infancy, Carl summoned all his Halloween spirit for his dynamic vocal performance.  
  Now that it was sounding like a real song, JJ dropped both the key piano part, as well as his expressive organ in there, too. Mark wasn't far behind, adding his magic via the sax to the solo section, and strings in the third verse. Stephen came through with the spooky tremolo guitar and the fiery first half of the guitar solo in the solo section right after. And to put the cherry on the musical sundae, Tez brought the lightning down for the second half of the guitar solo, as well as the solo work that leads the whole way to the end.
  We all enjoyed bringing this classic song back to life, and doing it in the spirit of what may be the most fun holiday on the callendar. We hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed creating it. Happy Halloween!

Unfortunately, the connection has dropped, and we cannot be sure what is happening in the apartment where, at such a late hour, the light is still on. Probably nothing; they’re likely watching a film or reading a book. They might be projecting their reactions outward, and what we see could therefore be nothing more than the reflection of someone else’s nightmares — or dreams. Certainly, we have now reached a turning point: nothing can any longer be regarded as real, or the opposite... (all talk!).

This is the fifth in a series of eight easy, acoustic, rather short, and deliberately inconclusive tracks, assembled by combining new ideas with reworked older material, adding parts and sounds along the way.

In case nothing happens - part 5 (night again)

Feelings are broken Down, Trashed In the rain. Dont Take it back.

I just improvised this and think it works well. It will most likely be edited down and expanded but I quite like its simplicity but it's a bit too long and needs more vocals and instrumentation.

Scratch that im pretty happy with this now. I think? lol
