Somewhere

Way overdue for something new but I've been living in exile without the usual, albeit modest, setup I'm used to. So this might be pretty rough. And it's full of the usual horror at political realities and way full of schmaltzy velveeta. 

Guitarist note:  I don't have amps at present and was struggling to find a decent direct sound. There is a *free* VST plugin by Neural Amp DSP and online libraries of tone prints, also free, that came to the rescue. Highly recommended.

My Story

Tom's piano melodies are so inspirational, not just to me (Mark) but also to Jussi, Georg and Boon. The energy of this piece carried us all off on a wonderful journey. We hope you enjoy the joyful enthusiasm that Tom initiated. Tom also gave me the key line, 'My Way Through' and I had to run with it as it made so much sense with this uplifting and hopeful music. A full time, freelance children's book illustrator, introduced to Magix music making software in January 2014.  Haven't been near music production since school about a hundred years ago.  Can't play a note, and sing like a drain unblocking - Hence any music I may eventually have the nerve to upload is all created using midi/vst instruments playing compositions created in the piano roll editor.   The Magix forum dedicated to music production is the only place to suffer my creations so far.  Didn't realise it could be so much fun though.  Woohoo.
