Reposting my comment from last year on Reddit when I was overjoyed to have finally found this:  During a stay in 2014 at the JW Marriott Desert Springs, I was so transfixed by this song that I didn't change the channel once in three days, and I recorded a crappy video on my phone so I could hold onto it. Called Marriott HQ to get the name of the song or a link to the video, but they couldn't help. So, today I was sorting old media when I came across that cell phone video, I instantly Shazammed it, and voila! Quest complete.

I am amazed by this song! i found out about it through a hilton hotel tv channel but i have to kept listing to it. i am only 15 and probably dont know how hard it was to make this but i really enjoyed it! keep up the good work!

Pocket Submarine is a musical project by Australian artist Guy Brown

Living on the beach in Manly, Sydney Australia is what inspired the song ”Drifting Days,” as Guy is an avid surfer familiar with the free-and-easy beach lifestyle
