This piece is made up of the following components:

* Gertrude Stein reading her poem "If I Told Him" (recording from [Penn Sound](writing.upenn.edu/pennsound/x/Stein.php))
* A recording of black holes colliding from the LIGO (Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory) Scientific Collaborative

I'm using the Croaker reggae riddim.  Instead of traditional drums, I'm using rauschen to create a beat.  There are bits of Ezra Pound reading "Hugh Sewlyn Mauberly (Contacts and Life)".

Recorded off of an Eton emergency radio on the FM band in the bathtub with Apogee Meta Recorder with no external mic on an iPhone 8.

Gritboy - KPFU - disquiet0407

This was inspired by the book "The Story of Motown" by Peter Benjaminson.  Briefly, Motown had a label called Black Forum that released speeches by Martin Luther King, Stokely Carmichael, and others. The book mentions that Motown had recorded an album featuring Langston Hughes and Margaret Danner for the Black Forum label. Unfortunately, the album was never released.
